    @mortelaro

    That is quite the set up you have. Are you an official station or what?

    I stopped recording for met Éireann before Syranbruen was born (:D)
    Always kept my own vantage pro 2 from Davis here since,upgrading over time
    That's a new 30' tower for the wind cups that went in last year
    The station is very exposed to the south and just 2kms north or west of the coast so is sea breeze central,often up above 30kmh
    It doesn't get too warm here
    Hottest temp I've ever recorded here was 27c
    Quite a few 24's and 25s and a few 26's when theres a land breeze
    Another peculiarity, common on the coast is the max daily temp on sunny days can be between about 530 and 7pm in summer when the sea breeze has died down

    same pattern.. brightening in the afternoon with a warm breeze to take the excess heat and humidity off, and dry the hay.....west mayo offshore

    Nice Moon low in the sky now to the south. Nice to observe it tonight as tomorrow is 50 years since the NASA Moon landing.

    Nice Moon low in the sky now to the south. Nice to observe it tonight as tomorrow is 50 years since the NASA Moon landing.

    To be precise, tomorrow is the 50th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 11 from Cape Canaveral in Florida. The anniversary of the actual moon landing itself will be on Saturday.

    Last night a huge orange moon hanging there above us.... This morning, quiet but blessedly fresh with energy in the small breeze and a varied sky, clear and cool. Always a beauty in whatever way it is expressed. The season progresses at its own pace; hedges and banks white with bramble blossom. No lark now, few birds. A huge seagull skydrifting.. Six o'clock and all is well well

    west mayo offshore peace

    Was cloudy when I left Meath and Dublin Airport early this morning, didn't take long for the plane to be over clouds with no land visible. The plane veered south along the coast and once we were flying over mid Wicklow along the coast the clouds parted and could see Arklow, Wexford and Rosslare from the air. Looked very sunny compared to Dublin and Meath.
