This is an incredibly well coached, organised, conditioned and committed group of players and yes, it's great to have the bonus point before half time.

But this is rapidly becoming an uncompetitive league.

Stuart Lancaster has turned Leinster into a formidable machine and Leo appears to be one of the great people managers in the game. This has coincided with what appears to be a lull within the competition and it's becoming entirely predictable.

I have huge admiration for what they've done and it's for the rest of the competition to adapt - but we're miles out in front now and I'm increasingly uncomfortable with the optics of that.

It's true what you say. I agree, the league is really dreary and there's no real sides to compete with the provinces.
That said, it's a testament to the underage systems and the coaching. Ulster lined out a young , fairly inexperienced side and crushed Zebre. Leinster have being playing with academy lads in some instances.
The league will be way more competitive with the Bok sides.
I think if Leinster were in the premiership, they would win it. Only Exeter can really compete with them.

I know, but now there is even less (might need to invent new maths to work that out)

    Ref is very whistle friendly..

Few 50 50 calls but otherwise think he has been good. Consistent. Players making some dumb errors isn't helping

The only thing the league has going for it is that it ends in a knock out to give an outside chance of an upset. Otherwise the league would be wrapped up by mid February (in a regular year).

Roll on the South African teams arriving.

    Wow.

Utter dominance up front. I think Edinburgh have given up.

Main thing now really for the rest of this will be kicking practice for Frawley.

What's the record winning margin for a league match?

Too easy, Edinburgh have given up.

As has been said the league is becoming too easy and the optics of it is terrible.

What's the record winning margin for a league match?

We beat Zebre by 64 points a couple years back

It's been impressive from Leinster, but Edinburgh have been so disappointing tactics wise. It's like they had no intention of opening up and taking the game to Leinster. They've kicked almost everything.

    Its not easy for Edinburgh

The game between Zebre and CBL tonight was good craic too, very competitive up to the end

45 - 3 up and defending like that.

The ruthlessness of it - jebus.

Ospreys beat Benetton 75-7 about five or six years ago.

every leinster player is offside at every single ruck here

Ref was desperate for Edin to get a try

This is an awful spectacle, penalty counts must be off the charts.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

That whole series gives Lancaster something to tear them apart on, he'll be delighted! :pac:

Delightful to see it. Sick of watching every team Leinster and Ireland play getting away with it as we play fair.

Ireland, Leinster dont always play fair on offside. They do it every bit as much as the opposition

Looked like a perfectly good score for Sheehan.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,391 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

    That's grounded

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

Not a hope in hell that was held up. TMO should have got him to have a look at that.
