Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I can't think of any other politician that has been convicted of similar offences and jailed; can you please let us know to whom you're referring?
I also re-iterate, how is possession of a controlled substances, attempting to travel under fake documents and mortgage fraud "going against government" - other than in a "rage against the machine" type fashion?

A bag of coke mate would you get a grip. The assault fair enough that's a bad one. Mortgage fraud? Meh sounds like a proper politician. I've travelled on false documents myself but it was a matter of life and death so no comment on that.

possession of a controlled substances, so he did some drugs in this time. you understand people do this all the time.
Travelling to America to do interviews and gain support.
You says Fraud seriously, there is fraud everywhere in politics, literally everywhere.

It's disappointing to see the lack of condemnation of the attacks against Robinson. Have they forgotten about Jo Cox already?

Yes, myself included. However, I've never been arrested for it and I'm not running for election.
Travelling to America to do interviews and gain support.
Trying to illegally enter a country using false identification sounds a lot like the kind of thing that he's moaning about happening in the UK to me...

    This is getting comical.

I thought that people with a right-wing disposition were pro law and order.

I'm starting to think that there might be something a bit more black and white behind this love for the common criminal.

I know little and care less about his actual policies.
He will be a dissenting voice in Brussels and more people like that are needed over there.
    .

Hang on, you don't know or care what his policies are? Yet you care enough to start a thread on here saying you hope he'll get elected because there's "Too many yes man in Brussels"?

Can you tell me how many of the 750 MEPs do you think are yes men? And what exactly are they saying yes to that you would prefer they said no to?

I'm still waiting on anyone to post what policies that Tommy Robinson has that they agree with.

It's a big circle jerk over in that kip bar a few exceptions. I just want to see him head over there and ruffle a few feathers. I think it would be hilarious altogether.

I don't want to put words in your mouth, but would I be correct in assuming that what you're saying is that you have no idea what an MEP does, you have no idea about what happens in the European Parliament, you have no idea what Tommy Robinson's policies are or whether he has them, you have no idea what the views of any other MEPs, you have no idea what you don't like about the EU and you don't have any idea what you would like changed about the EU... it's just chaos you're after?

If you lived in a rough area of Baltimore or in some favella, that comment of yours might not be so cringey. If you live in Ireland, you're not living in some dog-eat-dog world. If you think that you do, you're suffering from what is largely known as First World Problems.

They do fùck all over in the parliament, it's not chaos I'm after it's comedy.

    I don't live in Ireland.

So can I take that to mean you don't actually know which MEPs are yes men? Or what they're saying yes to you disagree with? You just want him elected so he can be obstinate for no reason other than it's funny?

That's just objectively not true, nor funny.

Basically yes, who really cares about the EU elections? Less than half the electorate I'd imagine. Imagine Tommy Robinson standing up speaking in Brussels. The meltdowns from people would be so entertaining.

Guarantee that this poster would complain about the EU being "undemocratic"

Why would I think that are undemocratic? Are they making decisions and laws for sovereign countries?

Why didn't you say that in the beginning?

We all agree that he is a clown but you were trying to suggest earlier that he was something other than a joke. You could have saved us a lot of time.

    Yes.

    Yes.

That could definitely be seen by some as undemocratic.

    How so?

    How so?

Why do countries need others to tell them what to do? It's not a dictatorship is it? I know Ireland have signed up to be told what to do an all but still.

I think Ireland needs to have a foreign power tell them what to do, sure hasn't it always been that way?

So you're here to troll. Ok. Do not post in this thread again. If you do, you will be banned from this forum.

Ok. I've reviewed the thread. The OP has all but admitted to starting it to troll and I've seen scant political discussion so I am locking it.
