I’m a dub living in the ruralest of rural places and just now I hear a very loud ‘moo’ outside the living room window ..... Even I know that means that there is a cow in my garden.

The moo quickly turns to moos and twenty seconds later I’m running around the front fcuking lawn with my mad farmer neighbours herding about 50 cows out of my garden.

In my socks. A little bit tipsy. You actually couldn’t make this stuff up :pac:

Ha, snap! Ya get used to it, the fish outta water stuff fades though. I had a wee while when I thought WTF is goin on here but gradually you become so used to it that a trip to Dublin City Centre feels more foreign to you.
    It's gradual though.

PS - I found the "moo" outside the door stops entirely when ya let the auld cow in.
    Afterall, she's still your wife!!

Watching some mothers son on rte 2

Sitting out on the patio sipping a craft beer and listening to a bit of music.

Had intentionally gone 2 weeks without a sip of booze after over-doing it for a wee while plus it coincided with a nice chap in work telling me about his alcohol issues and the damage it did to his life.
It scared me a tad. Even now I'm sipping and conscious not to over-do it and maybe let it be a fortnightly thing.
I found myself feeling lethargic and also even unsure if I had sent a message or two which I never had, but the doubt was there and I realised this crap can't go on. Ney harm cutting back. The biggest worry of the lot was the Saturday morning when I woke up and had to go through my internet history to check what I had done after 2am.
Turns out I had listened to a Beyonce song around 2.30am and then another one around 3am.
So that's 2 Beyonce songs in the one night. Cruelty to music.
That was like a dagger through the heart! Massive red flag. Didn't even know she had 2 songs.
Still, sometimes ya need to hit bottom to bounce back!!

On the bed, with a mug of coffee fortified with Jack Daniels. Hiding out as RL Jr picked a movie to watch and I can't be doing with The Grinch

Home now and after a few pints on a Friday night. This is rare for me! Did someone mention alcohol problems earlier in the thread? I'm gonna have a couple more and then the massive takeaway I brought with me. I so don't get to do the Friday pints at this time of year and best of all, I'm not up early in the morning. Brunch in Chequers!

Hmmmmm, I'm thinking not too far over the bridge. Depends on whether you go left or right though. Given away my own location myself more than once :)
