Got a Fredo egg for kids earlier which is basically another version of a kinder egg. Anyway... she got a jigsaw as the "surprise".
Seeing as I'm home alone now I decided to put the jigsaw together. Says age 4 and up. I'm 38 so I was brimming with confidence. :)
45 minutes later and some beads of sweat expired and some self-doubt along the way but it's finally done.
    Fredo is complete.
Starting to seriously question my own IQ but it's done. Next up is a date with some laurel trees and a chainsaw. But the entire Fredo aged 4 jigsaw thing has me thinking perhaps operating heavy machinery might be a venture too far.
Suffice to say if RTE news later lead with a headline about a daft man in Laois cutting his arm off, you can safely assume I won't be logging in for a wee while!

Sitting in the garden pretending to read the paper but really just enjoying the craic of Mrs S and two of our daughters chatting away and having a great laugh.

Hi, could anyone recommend any good spots to pop the question (engagement) to my girlfriend in Split, Croatia? Preferably somewhere not too busy or crowded. TIA

Home from a great night out in the midlands with extended family, couchside now eagerly anticipating the Limerick match, a nice cool beer about to be consumed from the fridge

Same room too, they remembered me.

Haven't found 'That thing' you left behind yet.

Maybe the batteries have gone flat and it’s not buzzing anymore?

Those electric toothbrushes are quite expensive...

Thrown in an armchair after dinner. Went out to see off bikes on a memorial ride out today and ended up staying out for ages. It was a good day :)

Wrecked after a long day laboring in the garden.
A long bath followed by a steak dinner and bottle of wine are up next.

Love the way we are all on the same warped sense of humour/maturity here.

Missed most of the second half due to my daughters hamster dying.

I was cheering for Limerick but it looked a lost cause when I had to go.

Just looked at the final score, wow Limerick pulled it back after I left. That must have been a nail biter?.

I'm gutted for them,so damn close..I think that when they beat us last year it was the best match I've ever seen, better than the final imo and I cried more than I would have if Cork had won, they will win again but that's no consolation this evening...wine time now.

I feel your pain , but if you think it's bad now , wait until you're Mother Of The Bride / Groom !
I'll give you my dress if you like :D

Snap TH. Had the BEST home cremated steak and chips dinner and now with feet up, glass #3 poured and a captive audience for an evening of ramblings and musics :D

Back home after another quick work trip: domestic order reimposed, well slept and fed and feeling good. Lotta food for thought and some big work and relocation decisions to be made, but not tonight. :)
Every time I get back here though I remember and feel so strongly, Dublin and Ireland are the BEST.
