Reopened again in summer, but didn't last long, maybe a few months. Pretty sure I still got coffee there when it was takeaway only in October.

You totally missed that Galway Roast moved in and out of the site, twice, since.

Specsavers have branches in Eyre Square and the Galway Shopping Centre.

When is the new Spar supposed to open in Salthill, up beside Colm's Casino and the Creamery in the promenade area.

Definitely a spar, has been reported here and elsewhere as such several times. I was also passing lately, and with my quick glance I was sure I had saw spar type branding.

Excellent example alright, the truck livery makes for great reading.
To elaborate on the previous photo of the artic truck on the prom road; they were actually blocking the sight lines for a pelican crossing as well as parking on double yellow lines. Truck was parked right up to the crossing. In the UK - all crossings like this have a zig-zag line on approach to such crossings; park on them at your peril.

Def would not recommend if you have a big interior mess. They will try to fleece you. But that's just my experience from having a car parked up til xmas last year.

Planning lodged for a Decathlon, Tesco Supermarket and a number of smaller retail units in Knocknacarra opposite the Aldi and New Lidl - would love to see this get the go ahead.
