Yes, we have made bookings for tomorrow and monday without incident. If you are thinking of going today/night, there are traffic restrictions for events.

iSupply shop in Sea Rd is gone.

Sign on the door says that in order to provide high quality service to customers they've decided to relocate all functions for business customers to the Head Office in Ballybane.

Passed by DH Westlink on the Tuam road today. And all closed up, all cars gone.
Website is up with no mention of address change.

Has it closed or moved etc?

Townhouse bar now seems to be part of the woolen store next door

It’s actually a different company that’s opened there, Weavers of Ireland. As opposed to the recently opened Aran Sweater Market on the corner. There must be a big demand for this kind of stuff!

Ah ok. Checked now and it’s a popup when I visit website. Didn’t have this popup yesterday.

Fair move, I thought maybe to another location in Galway, but Carlow.

Very strange. Just a couple of weeks ago they were advertising for new staff on Facebook.

They have a tiny hair salon and 1 treatment room downstairs to one side of the pharmacy shop floor. Anyone in the shop can see you getting your hair done. I believe they used to have a bigger setup upstairs and also open on Sundays. They don't now. I get the impression they are very short of staff.

Was in the Warwick nightclub on a college trip to Galway in 1991 or 2... mad place, in a good way... we were supposed to be there to learn Irish :pac:

Great craic but it looked like it was about to fall down even then. Shame to see it go though, cities need venues like that even if they're in bits, for bands getting started etc.

Lots of venues like that have been lost in Dublin and not replaced - soon there will be nowhere for anyone not already famous who is musical or artistic or creative to do their thing - and in a few years time Galway will probably be the same. :(

    Life ain't always empty.

Weir's are doing bin collections and supply skips in Galway. I suppose it is of interest to their customers.

They are one of the waste collection companies for the City.

Is that not Wers? Based in Tuam.

The link you've given relates to the acquisition of Weirs.

"Biffa acquired Weir Waste in August 2018, a leading provider of waste management services in the Midlands.

Biffa, now incorporating Weir, offers a comprehensive range of waste management services for businesses across Birmingham and the Midlands..."

*I see your edit re. GBFM now.
