Mark Moran has some vision and the ability to deliver a pass.

That Galway keeper is a disgrace. He has made a comedy of errors today.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,418 ✭✭✭wirelessdude01

Being two footed opens up such an array of options. Defender has to stand off even more.
That coupled with his vision makes him a serious option. Imagine him with a proper winter of S&C.

Need to tack on a few more scores in case it’s a 3 way tie

Mullin is too good for the full back line.

Worst county keeper I can remember seeing in a very long time.

I don't care what bank the county board have to rob but they've got to do everything in their power to do David Clifford on it.:D

He is but that's where our needs are greatest.

Reminds me of Zippy when he gets motoring.

There was a Chris Barrett played midfield for Mayo in an U21 final in 04. He is not the current defender?

    No, from Lahardane iirc.

    Am I right in thinking

If Donegal beat Tyrone today then a draw is good enough next week.

If Tyrone win we need to better Donegal’s result against Kerry next weekend or win by more than Monaghan beat Meath by

Should have clocked up more with coen missing 2 frees. Lots of positives and it's 2 points badly needed.

    Need to take Tyrone now

Ok mathematicians what result suits us best in the next game?:D

    Couldn't be bothered lol.

    Mark Moran MOTM.

    Ample contenders.

Best forward display in a long while especially that 1st half. Full of energy and incisiveness. Great to see the new lads stake their claim too. Moran looks the making of lthe playmaker we've been looking for since Mac. Well done Mayo

To be fair, I've criticised James Horan's tactics in the past but he got it right today and his knowledge of the club scene is so valuable for rebuilding.

A Donegal win is the best outcome now, then our fate is in our own hands.

We’ve more options if Donegal win BUT you’d have to think Kerry will beat Donegal to win the league. So if Donegal lose today they are looking down the barrel

Largest ever league score in that game too.

    FYP

Hard to believe there’s no Knockmore man named today

Mad west saying a Tyrone win would be best

Yeah a draw will do if Donegal beat Tyrone today.

How? We'd be on 6 points, Monaghan only have to beat Meath then to go to 7

Great urgencey shown from us. There's a nice mix of players there now. Moran and Conroy putting their hands up for a place.

Aidan left around 14 and Leeroy at 4 strengthens us too.

We might pull this off yet.

Though leeroy was poor enough at 4 today that pace isn't what it used to be

I think the days of him bombing up the pitch are gone but he's a solid man marker. Would be a better option in the corner. Leave the younger lads at half back.

Always think Lee is very restricted when played in the corner. Things he'd get away with in the halfback line are called in the fullback line.

McBrien gave away a few frees today.
