    To be honest, I haden't a clue of the permutations, and just relying on yere expert analysing to see what the story is.

    Yes it is what the other poster was saying.
    But just to be pedantic, it's never actually in Mayo's own hands.
    They need Donegal to do them a favor and win.
    Mayo winning both remaining games on their own may not be enough.
    Way back in the spring that Tyrone v Dublin game was a disaster for Mayo.
    Tyrone ekked out a win on an awful night.
    A Dublin win would have been much better.
