Michael Gallagher from Ballycroy has thrown his hat into the ring for the PRO position.

Lengthy interview on CRC with Aidan Crowley.

A very strong candidate me thinks.

He did that a few weeks ago. I have to say that the current PRO actually did ok in my view in managing the role, particularly from the social media aspect.
That said, more recent events and handling of same have tainted that view and clearly a change is needed.

In other words - what a ****ing **** show.

john O'Mahony has urged the various warring parties in the Mayo GAA funding saga to embrace independent mediation.I totally agree, for the sake mediation has to take place.

With the "money money money" and "shoe the donkey" at the Underdogs game, medication wouldn`t go far astray either.

Can someone point me towards something that summarises the current situation with the County board??

I've seen a few Tweets and the posts on here but not clear of what's going on at all (???)

Its funny as I have lost alot of respect for him since he only took the mayo job to get elected and forced one of our all time best players to go early.

Ran in Galway West general election 2016 after boundary changes moved some of his previous Mayo constituency into Galway West and Mayo had dropped from a 5 seater to 4.

Well that's the biggest pile of a nothing-statement ever...

I mean is that not what they were doing anyway?
It's embarrassing. And that statement isn't helping.

They just want to take the fuel from the fire to give themselves breathing space for a while.
It might be no harm to keep ourselves out of the headlines for a while.

You’d think he could have least dragged a body by the ankles down a lane way . Why won’t young people put the effort in these days ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,363 ✭✭✭Audioslaven

Well this is a better statement than the stuff going on over the last few days with contradictions/looking like we have some that make stuff up.
Granted, It's a nothing statement but it stops the rot with the clubs.
They just need to concentrate now in fixing the outstanding issues and addressing them appropriately
