    In bed absolutely bricking it. The bf and I had a very serious conversation about serious things and it seems we want something different. Feel like something big is coming and I feel sick, I’m shaking out of control and there’s not a chance of getting any sleep tonight

    i'm in a lovely posh hotel on a work trip in Chicago. Love Chicago so much, but man it's cold.
    Room service done, examination of all the free toiletries done, obligatory hour spent checking out all theTV channels done. About to settle in for US Netflix-athon. They have entire Frasier series here!!!

    Lesson that I should have learnt years ago, never bloody volunteer. I gave up a nice jaunt that would have me back in the hotel by lunchtime for a slog to Beirut with thunderstorms, agh.
