RPG - Murder on the Canadian Express SIGN UP THREAD

So a simple intro RPG was discussed, with a low posting commitment.

The idea I have is a completely original one, which may have been plagarised from me by a British author years ago.

Very simple, you go on an expensive train ride through the Canadian wilderness and there is a murder. Ride is five days long. You have to find who did it, before they take more lives.

If people want I can make it a period piece, i.e. 19th century or something else for a bit of flavour.

Making a character will be easy enough, I'll go through it once I see numbers and the rules will be explained as they come up. Nothing to learn in advance.

Something I didn't explain in the OP in case anybody is wondering, RPGs are not competitive, so no player wins over the others. You're all just characters in a situation as such.

Okay so to make a character, all you do is go here:

Type your boards username first and then enter this:

Strength[2d6] Dexterity[2d6] Endurance[2d6] Intelligence[2d6] Education[2d6] Society[2d6]

That'll be most of making your character done.

This is basically rolling two dice to determine your characters statistics. Higher the better (i.e. Somebody with Strength 11 is stronger than somebody with Strength 8). I think most of them make sense, except perhaps "Society" that's your social standing.

If any of this goes wrong or doesn't make sense, don't worry about it.
