As last year (and still) Leinster fans underestimated Butler, it's now the case for Colby Fainga'a too.
He faced (or played along with) Fardy and has had exactly the same stats. It's a toss-up tomorrow.
Same for young Boyle and Doris, slight advantage for the 1st.
Leavy is the new idol in Dublin but our Captain Jarrad will hold the comparison, not a millions miles away at least

Centres go Connacht way, Front-5 should too

If there was not the home advantage, it'd up to grab for the Westerners. There it's close to 50/50. +14 handicap looks insane IMO

    Poor colby

The only one of the four brothers not to be capped internationally.

Must be some great slagging around the Christmas dinner table.

Scientists recently discovered the lowest level of sound ever detected, marginally above complete silence when they recorded the Tiernan O'Halloran for Ireland brigade during the November internationals.

Like a fair weather fan I only opened the match thread the day of the match to see I had been depriving myself of that opening post, it deserves some sort of award.

They were all struck dumb in awe at Bobster's world class lesson in 15 play.

I'm actually delighted you reminded me of something which made big news in the science field in November.

There was actually a very rare instance of a sound vacuum single-handedly created by Lukey "Luke" McGrath's negligence against the Kiwis prior to 8pm on the 17th of November 2018. So much shame and embarrassment was ingested by Leinster supporters that this sound vacuum actually swallowed all decebals both above and below ground. Scientists conferred with dolphins (who are notoriously smart creatures) and the conclusion was that it was a first of several upcoming events which we termed in Latin "Evangelium secundum Lucam McGrath internationalis tutela suicidium" which translates to "Luke McGrath international career suicide".

A humorous side-note was that a Dunnock, which is a very common Belfast avian species, actually joined in the discussion and said that John Cooney is destined to be 3rd choice at the World Cup anyways.

. Bit rough on Marmion, but fair enough I suppose.

Not happy with the gif of the two Kearney missing tackles on a Connacht man? Cmon they as well as you are conservative country folk who go around in hunting gear. No wonder the ordinary Irish countrymen like Connemara man dislike you/them

Let me guess- you’re a Redmondite who thinks Irishmen should have fought for England in WW1? Isn’t that what Kearney stands for being a fellow west Brit?

You are actually the worst Leinster fan I've ever come across.

You haven't a good word to say about any of them.

Between Kearney being a West Brit and the country lads being racist, why do you bother?

Rob Kearney, the GAA playing, Catholic educated Louth man. The true definition of a west Brit.

Weren't Redmond and John Bruton also Catholics? Didn't stop them being west Brits.

Also I remember some of the Kearney supporters on leinsterfans at the time mocking the question of him choosing GAA over rugby.

He wouldn't have been allowed to plaster himself in his under garments over the back of buses if he did. Wouldn't have done his ego any good getting pushed down and battered by his equals on the GAA pitch. Of course I doubt he views them as equals hence him choosing rugby.

Connacht already lost their biggest game of season in September in Galway, now they are going to lose their 2nd biggest game against a bunch of kids.

Never mind. I suppose even you, with an enormous amount of hard work and self-sacrifice, might be able to improve to a level at which you too can aspire to West-Brithood.

In all seriousness lads. I know we all are nearly ready for Christmas, most of the shopping has been done and we're looking forward to a cracking match.
But it's not like that for everyone.
There are people who's Christmas will be a trauma. Those who have lost. Those who have little.
My heart goes out to them.
On Christmas morning just for one moment I ask you to pause and think...
At that precise moment some unfortunate little child somewhere is unwrapping a Connacht jersey.
    Be grateful for small mercies.

    Merry Christmas

Yeah this poor Dublin boy you described. Alone in green back to school in January, among humilited kids in blue, all of them defeated and full of grudge. Difficult time ahead you're right to support him, envy is never a good feeling.

    Happy new year

Didn't he grow up in Cooley and play gaa?!?

Some good rugby from Leinster here. Conor O'Brien seems to have that knack for being on the shoulder.

  • Nice dummy by JGP

Leinster backs looked poor in defence but fluid in attack.

Mick Kearney and JGP having bright starts. There's gonna be a few tries tonight for both sides.
