Has anyome contacted sponsors to show how happy they are with delaney?

Is there a template? (Ima too astoopid to write a email bya myselfs)

Hopefully it includes "john delaney is class and any product he endorses, whatever it costs, myself and my extended family will buy 10,000 each."

Maybe if we buy ****loads of sponsors stuff theyll stick by delaneys side

Always entertaining when a poster wants to affect an air of calm reasoned intelligence...but they're the one running all around the place babbling nonsense like a kid on a sugar rush.

Did you think that was clever? Could you point out the clever bit, so I can consider it again? Otherwise it looks like these overexcited efforts...
I can use ms paint to draw a diagram if thatd help ?
Better than having my head up my ass like some people ;)

    Ah chancer.

Shame that seems to have upset you so much.

    Are you ok ?

Are you concerned that a campaign against the sponsors is what will really hurt Delaney ?

Maybe banners against the sponsors might also be a good way to go.

The question should have been asked off Delaney whether he has changed offices in this job change.

I suspect that he hasnt and that the the interim CEO is just there in pretty well name only and taking up the aspects to the role John is no longer interested in doing.

That question ref change of offices should have been one that he couldn't find an excuse not to answer.

Notice yesterday also how Conway on naming the board members and their current roles he forgot about the current “Interim CEO”? Very sheepishly having to come back “sorry this is Rea” 🙈 And in his closing “thinking of the children” statement he claimed they are “all volunteers”?

The cherry on the icing of the cake FARCICAL!!!!!!!!

Dont forget a banner against the healy raes too.

The Healy Raes make Delaney look like a saint and the most intelligent man on the planet compared to those shower of idiots.

Parish pump politics and rhetoric fresh from Killorglin wouldnt look out of place in the FAI board room.

Actually, Mike is highly intelligent. Always was. He could debate English literature if you wanted. Just hides it well, no votes in that. Danny is an idiot.

And suspect Delaney is intelligent too. Maybe not highbrow, more in a street smart savvy way.

I don't like them. Yesterday was a farce, as was obvious it would be. But questioning the intelligence of the participants...thats actually falling for their shtick.

Has anyone contacted sponsors to convey their disapproval ?

If so is there a template knocking about ?

Hope it includes ‘I will also encourage my family and friend to follow me’

Surely enough LOI fans will be more than happy to show how unhappy they are and all get on board.

Contacting their twitter, Instagram and other social media pages would be good too as that would be public whereas an email is private.

Fun fact - New Balance’s first time sponsoring Olympics was by dressing the Olympic Council of Ireland in Rio 2016 and look how that turned out :D .

Have started contacting sponsors of the FAI.

Now is the time to make a difference. Delaney and the FAI's dirty laundry ,that many of us have known for a long long time, was aired in public yesterday for all to see. I think they really miscalculated as it was clear that Conway went in there with a reconciliation angle, but the bould Delaneys neck was too thick. Wheeling out the Honorary secretary, a young fella who was in the job 2 weeks to deflect from questions to Delaney and the healy-Rae fiasco were just the nails in the coffin for the column inches that were written for today.

Time to hit them where it hurts.

Probably the only think we (Shels) have ever lead the way on! :D

The current "They always cheat, they always lie, f*ck Delaney and the FAI" was belted out around Tolka and awaydays since 2011 with the FAI giving the Shels multiple fines and warning them it can not be allowed be sung at the 2011 FAI Cup Final in Lansdowne.... .

There is no way I'm falling out with Carlsberg. We've been through thick and thin for a quarter century and Delaney won't spoil our relationship.

I know there’s a few on thread spats going on between a few posters and I kinda skim over those posts.

Would you mind giving me your take on what’s going on presently, how things got to this stage and how relations can be fixed?

Please don’t take take as a loaded question. I’d genuinely like to know :)

It's honestly best to just ignore Chancer tbh, Strawbs.

He started off by being... relatively logical, but as the issue has grown and proven his arguments to be bogus he's devolved into trolling the thread looking for a reaction, same as Dots.

Please don't quote these posts. These people are on ignore lists. Quoting just pollutes the thread.

Michael certainly did not know Danny's plans or want Danny running. Michael's profile helped Danny, but he did not "get Danny elected" in the sense of helping his campaign.

The joke in Kilgarvan is if you want to make sure Michael doesn't get a message, drop it into the bar.

Not to derail the thread but I can’t let blatant lies pass. I can’t link on mobile phone (apologies!) but a simple google of Healy Rae’s constituency carve up in the GE will bring you to newspaper reports of a map of Kerry issued by the Healy Rae’s with instructions on which HR to vote for in each area.
MHR deliberately spread his own vote and possibly risked losing his seat in order the maximise DHR’s chances of getting elected. Hardly the action of a man who didn’t know his brother’s plans and didn’t help him.

I know them. You obviously don't and are relying on incorrect guesswork. Their mutual dislike goes back to the time the parents separated.

Danny decided to run and presented Mike with a fait accompli. Mike HAD to pretend to be in on it and smile for the cameras, support him and divide the constituency. What else could he do, run against him and tell people to vote against him?

But don't rely on your mistaken assumptions. Ask anyone in Kilgarvan. It's no secret that they don't like each other and Danny running would have killed Mike as, at the time, no one knew how it would affect his vote. As it turned out, he remained a poll topper.

It's interesting that the mods have allowed pretty much open season in this thread, and are overlooking posts containing abuse and trolling.

Anyone seen Dots. His splutterings about the reality of the context of the situational realities were the funniest efforts yet. Thread needs laughs.

Ok, so you are saying delivering a map to the voters with instructions from MHR to vote for DHR indicates that MHR didn’t know of his brothers plans and didn’t help him?

Thanks for clearing that up. Let’s get back to Delaney now.

For all you HR fanboys out there. Clearly MHR was not exactly blindsided by his eloquent brother as some seem to want us believe. Be sure to watch the video.

In my opinion the majority of people posting "delaney out" dont know their ass from their elbow. I compared it to the "trump out" brigade.

When you ask them to explain their stance they stumble over themselves in their inability to explain anything properly or to come up with some legit reasons. Posts of "fai is rotten to its core" and "sure delaney had nothing to do with any of the good stuff happening" is repeated ad nauseum.

So basically im defending the FAI, highlighting theres plenty of good work being done along with the areas that need improvement. In my eyes, the downsides arent enough to "sack the board"

I could go on. But ill wait for another question if you need clarity.

You have been asked on numerous occasions,

What have the FAI ever done for the League of Ireland?
Why were clubs that were struggling not helped?
Why did the FAI give away TV rights for free?
Why do the FAI charge treble the fees for yellow/red cards than the English Premier League?
Why is the prize money so low and the fees to get into the league so high? Why is near 1/5 of the league games played in 1 Month?
Why are clubs fined for Anti FAI banners?
Why do the FAI withold Prizemoney from clubs?
Why do the FAI organise friendlies (for English sides in Aviva) and then refuse Limerick playing a big friendly?
Why did the FAI force Dundalk to play a cup final just over 24 hours after arriving back from St Petersberg (a game the FAI helped us to get to )
Why did the FAI make Finn Harps (semi pro team) play in Dublin 2 Mondays in a row (one a re-fixture) when both clubs said they prefer a differnet arrangement?

    Il await your answers

Who was the CFO who originally agreed that the FAI had the finances to pay a CEO position such a high salary, more than most of the larger associations? Surely part of the issue, resentment if you like, resides back to that era and a board that didnt say hang on a second to an over eager CFO. Our teams were not qualifying for major tournaments, grassroots were in tatters and we didnt have a ground of our own, the league of Ireland had more asterix on the league table than teams. Fran Rooney straightened out most of that before he moved on, in particular appointing a high performance director who I think was Pat Bonner at the time and opening talks with the IRFU on Landsdowne after Berties Bowl was scrapped, plans were drawn up to merge LoI and FAI and a competitions director was appointed. All before delaney took office! There is a legacy there that Rooney deserves credit for!!
