    Not long home, after an unexpected late one. Met up with an old school friend, we pushed for a night cap in a hotel after hours. Sat down in the lobby, and offered a drink by an affable group of musicians. Happily accepted, two ladies and a gentleman in company. The fellow had a bodhran at his feet, and an inquisitive nature. And so it carried on over several hours. It only latterly dawned on me I was speaking with Liam Ó Maonlaí of the Hothouse Flowers. Rare will I find a more humble man, truly a pleasure to hold court with such a talented and worldly individual.

    Back in Corrawallen finishing up.
    Another job over anyway, but I'm freezing today.
    I hate Dec and Jan, cold dark months for my work, mostly outdoor and its either freezing or wet.
    Roll on Xmas, I'm taking 2 weeks off and can't wait for them.
