One of my favourite lines in TV ever.

Maybe we should have Colm Meaney, aka Dessie Curley on the show as well.

As Sharon and Ger's daddy :p

Ger should know the Bishops too as I thought Sharon grew up near Granny Bishop

Well, the actor (John Cronin) who plays Will is 42, and the Commitments was made in 1991, so it would make him 14 back then.

That's true, also that reminds me - hasn't it been said through conversations they've had with each other that Sharon Collins and Carol Foley know each other from way back, so how come Carol has no clue who Ger is???? Makes zero sense to me

There seems to be a very young Will in the 'I don't know what a tracker mortgage is' ad.

I think Eoghan's mam Rose knew Trigger and Carol

You would think Carol would have at some stage encountered Ger

I wonder will we meet Hayley's birth father

I think if a domestic storyline started with Bob abusing Renee, we'd all fully support him. She's an absolute pain in the face.

Will should tell MAirHead that Damien smashed Cristiano through the wall.

Regardless of what Deegan says MAirHead will believe him.

They are making a mockery of a storyline that could have been so good. Has there ever been a character so devoid of brain cells then mAIRHEAD?

    That was a brutal episode

I didn't hear it myself, but I'm told that Will and Christy Ah No were on Ray Darcy programme on radio today. Apparently another RTE backslapping each other type of thing, talking about the "hard-hitting" drama dealing with domestic abuse.

(Don't know if the abusers ex was mentioned living with them )

I believe Will messes up this week and Mairead finally discovers he has been terrorising Cristiano (catches him in the act or something).....I think it may be in Thursday's episode

I used to love following this forum . as an anonymous non contributor..this forum used to be fun.
No wonder half the regular contributors to the Fair City forum have left...the fun and discussion is gone , this has turned into a Fair City bashing page about the characters instead of a discussion about the soap..

I’m sorry but RTÉ has a part to play in this forum being a bitch fest. Fair City used to be a great drama/soap. The death nail was when that guy from Home and Away was hired as a director

Or changed his identity, and became a milkman on an island, which unfortunately led to more babies.

If there was decent story lines and not the likes of Airhead been unveilevably dumb and the worst actor of all time in Fair city Bosco then there would be more interesting discussion.

The discussion is very good at times but with storylines been dragged on and on with characters not catching onto things obviously your going to start critcizing the character.

What do you expect us to say about Mairead, she's a lovely intelligent person and doesn't treat Damien like crap?

When the writing improves so will the discussion.
