Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Venjur, that was the most glorious writing piece I think I have ever read. Bravo.

You have a very familiar writing style.... are you Paul Howard??

I was going to guess Philip K Dick....

That's more like it. Good man, Venjur.

Where did you steal that from Venjur? You are FAKE NEWS.

:Three years ago Munster fan NIALL KIELY found it hard to be humble when faced with Leinster's delusions of adequacy. Today, he says it is impossible to be humble and much easier to be patronising.

I think his line that week was something along the lines of "The only way Leinster will beat Munster is if a spaceship lands in Croke Park and 15 aliens replace the Leinster players".

He tried to become the Munster version of Neil Francis without the ability to actually entertain once in a while.

I suppose that's little surprise to anyone but still happy to see him get a run in that environment. Hopefully Carbery starts for Munster and the subplot thickens.

    Reid on bench?

    Frawley with A's?

I'm reasonably optimistic about our venture to Dublin. Traveling up myself for it, don't usually go to too many away matches. Munster will put out a good line up, SUAF.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

O'Shea, DOC2 and Wycherley all with Munster A. We can assume that Holland, Kleyn and Beirne are all in the 23 for Dublin. If that's an indication of the team coming up, I'd say we could see a very strong Munster side.

POM is the only guy I don't think will feature at this point and even then I'm not 100%.

think they will go 100% full on.

Leinster will be at around 75%.

    Will that be enough?

Hold on now, the Munster bashing I can take, but this is just a step too far!

    Frawley with A's?

This would be a great chance for Frawley. Even 10 minutes in the Aviva against Munster would stand to him.

While it didn't seem like Ospreys dev gave much of a challenge, he seemed to go well against them for the A's

I'd like to see Frawley given the 22 shirt

    And my personal favourite;

That was well after his unfortunate stint at 10 as well. While not exactly solidified as the player he would go on to be he was far from deserving of that opprobrium. Obviously looks even more gigantically stupid in hindsight.

Munster head coach van Graan insisted they would not be looking for the inside track on Leinster from Carbery ahead of the game.

Van Graan said: “It is all about respect and I'm certainly not going to ask him for all the names of their moves and the way they do things.

    BAHAHA!

And Rassie Erasmus was staying at Munster!

Well if anyone is best placed to formulate a plan to unpick the Leinster defence it is surely Carbery.
I hope he starts. He should be starting as many matches as possible this season.

I think Carbery starts as he is unlikely to play so many minutes over the November Internationals bar the USA game

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,822 ✭✭✭Jump_In_Jack

Comparable to Burns at Ulster, Burns seems to be starting every match, Carbery should be likewise.

sure without carbery Munster have no chance.

It's kind of a case of which Leinster 10 will Munster be playing this week.

I’ve just read 10 pages of this nonsense...besides the poetic excellence from Venjuer (possible bad spelling) it’s all far too nice.
What ever happened to each set of supporters giving each other abuse and proclaiming that their team was the best to ever play the game?
I fear this forum is a bit like this fixture...not quite what it once was.
