I'm not opening that chestnut here. But research his upbringing and paternal influence and you'll see where it came from

    That's his name?

If it's because it's his name, then why do you not use Trumps full name?

Or are you still trying to peddle the 'secret Muslim' stuff that's been discredited more times than I can count.

What is the agenda for the visit?
An appeal to the irish vote? Obama did much the same in 2011.

Excuse me if you didn't understand the second bolded part.

People in his own administration are bad mouthing him. Calling him an idiot and a moron.

Again , there won't be a Trump 2020 campaign. The GOP knows what coming, the Democrats know whats coming and Trump knows whats coming. The people who proudly have Trump stickers on their cars can stick their fingers in their ears all they want but the complete desolation of Donald Trump is getting nearer and nearer.

Remember to wash your fingers, earwax is mank.
Taytoland says it better than I ever could.
PS I'm one of the people who proudly have trump stickers on their car.

They can insult him all they want. He made it to the very top of the ladder in American life, period. And they all doubted him, said it was impossible, laughed when he said he would run for President and look at what happened. I don't know what it says about all these political genius candidates and commentators in the US who insult Trump and yet he whipped all of them when it counted, at the ballot box.

It really says something about the different mentality between liberals and conservatives , when conservatives didnt start spreading all this rubbish when Barack Hussein Obama was in office but yet the liberals and liberal media outlets seem determined to bad mouth Trump.

Calling nytimes, cnn, Washington post liberal would be incorrect as they are all corporatist but that's neither here nor there. NYTimes I remember critiquing obamacare at every turn. They spent months warning Obama not to roll it out unless there was full bi-partisan support which Obama spent a year trying to get while Republicans ignored him. Fast forward to this year and the Republicans ram a health care bill through congress over one weekend without allowing Democrats to even read it and the NYTimes stay silent.

Obamas presidency wasn't a pure train wreck. How many of Trump's team has already been fired, quit, arrested and we are only 18 months in..not a single person from Obamas team ended up in jail after 8 years to my knowledge.

If Obama had said half the things Trump has said he would have been dumped out on his ass by his own party never mind the Republicans. The hypocrisy is incredibly strong on one side you are correct..

Doesn't matter anyway it all fuels the trump train so to speak, as Trump and those who support him don't care about the stuff reported and it actually helps Trump in the 2020 race, fuelling the "us vs them" mentality even further.

What stuff had they on Barack Obama that they so kindly didn t spread, are you saying he was doing **** that his opponents didn t want to capitalise on?

This poster drives around Ireland with a Trump sticker on his vehicle so I wouldn't be too hopeful of getting any sort of response grounded in reality if I were you.

They did it all the time. Trump himself spent a bit of time trying to get Obama removed from office for the sole reason of not actually being born in the US.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Given how rapidly the wheels are starting to fall off in the USA, I could see his November schedule becoming unstuck very rapidly over the coming weeks.

The media and 'liberals' also constantly call out Trump because he lies constantly, tweets gibberish constantly and in interviews displays a dangerous ignorance of little things like the law and oh I dunno, the constitution.

So do conservatives but Trumpers like to pretend that everyone who dislikes Trump must be a liberal.

It's quite amusing how the word 'liberal' has been distorted to mean something negative in the US.

One could argue that many Trump supporters and conservatives are actually diehard economic liberals as they want to dismantle many aspects of the state.

Many Trump supporters think Liberal means feminism/anti male/muslims/and trans gender equality and that all liberals are obsessed with these issues to the point of hysteria...leftie loonies etc etc etc

So based on the above, when DT tells a blatant lie at a rally, i mean one of those real porkies that he is famous for

Could you give me one example? Thanks

which of 4,500 + examples would you like?

Don't forget that the word liberal is used hand in hand with socialist, communist and far left too.

Basically putting modern day Netherlands and Joseph Stalin in same bracket.

    Seriously?

You claim to absorb media from all angles yet you have never ever once seen trump tell a blatant lie and then deny he said it, even when there is video evidence of him saying the lie?

It's pointless. To support Trump at this point, one would either have to be a troll or a moron. Either way it's pointless arguing, so a soothing "yes that's very nice, dear" will do.

    Why not both?

But yeah, those who like Trump like his dog-whistling but they don't want to admit it. It's like that birther guy here - he'll add hussein to Barak Obama's name but scuttles away when challenged because he hasn't the balls to defend his position outside his safe spaces elsewhere on the internet.

Trump targeted people's base instincts, something that was a bit taboo for a while because the last time people tapped into that, there was a genocide and a nasty war and it was agreed by us white folk that nazis were a bad lot.

Now, naziism has gone so mainstream that KKK and swastica carrying incels are acceptable to Trumpers after the whole "Both sides" nonsense.

On the bright side, all these cnuts who got behind Trump did so without evaluating whether he was competent or not. Had they got behind someone as intelligent as Orban or Putin, they might have had a chance to look clever themselves. Instead, they chose someone who has been universally described by his own staff as a thick cnut. Sure, those are my words but they're not that different to "amoral" and "idiot".

Trump won't last long. They know it now. That's why it's only edgy children and trolls defending him here.

I think Trump will last. I think he'll serve a second term. Not that I'm a fan or anything but I think he's got that kind of backing. And plenty of his supporters are not racist, sexist rednecks at all. They may not like everything about him, but they're pleased with him in relation to what matters to them.

I really don't get people in another country thousands of miles away displaying a Trump supporting car sticker or hat though. Why...?

I agree with that bit and also Unfortunately the republicans may win another term but he won't be at the helm, not a chance. And it won t be because of the democrats. Once the alpha wolf breaks a leg the pack kill him with a vengeance. Trump is limping already and the republican pack are waiting in the wings , fangs dripping.

The democrats will likely take the House but probably not the senate. They'll have an opportunity to open and control a lot on investigations into wrong-doing that'll associate Trump with corruption. Once republican leaders see that they can't get more from Trump, they'll drop him. We already know now that the 25th amendment was a possibility.

It must be close to the end now, the author of the op-ed knows full well the strong chances of them being found out, whats in it for him/her? they just wanna be in the newly forming, "we did it for the greater good" camp.
He won't be coming here, not as POTUS anyway, I'll give him a fortnight, his resignation speech will be epic better than anything we've seen yet.

How much are you wagering? I've heard this so many times over the past 2 years it's meaningless.

He won't resign. I don't think he'll be impeached either. He'll get to 2020 unless the republicans make a calculation that he's a liability.
