I actually think it was an illusion, he only actually scored 1 or 2 goals. Kind of like VVD who ‘looks’ like he is going to score a hatful while Robertson racks up 10 assists.
I feel like I fell for the Luiz illusion again at the start of this season due to him being dropped last year.

I had him in my team for a few minutes preseason due to his “attacking threat “

Then I looked at his history on FPL page
Especially the title winning season

His attacking threat is basically firing an occasional free kick against the wall or over the bar

Mahrez Erikson King to Kante Bilva Auba for a -4. Didn't want to lose team value with King and wanted to free up funds for a transfer next week too. Probably a bit of a rash decision but those 3 were very frustrating

I fell for the illusion alright. Question is whether to give him another week before getting in Alonso or Robertson. I had Robertson all year last year and he was a star. I figured he was too dear at 6m but somehow convinced myself that Luiz was a bargain at 5.5....:o

Came on to ask nearly the same thing, although I'm thinking of getting Mendy instead of Alonso. Would be -4 points but 1.4m in the bank.
Or do I use the wildcard and spend the 1.4m?
Mane could score as many points as Salah this season and for over 3m less?

I have no Arsenal defenders myself and it has not looked good so far but Arsenal have had awful opening fixtures, the last 2 league champions. I am starting to look at Arsenal cover now as fixtures improve. They have a great run ahead. Who are your other defenders?

I did Mane to Sanchez last night as a first step to downgrading Salah to get Kane and Hazard.

King | Lacazette | Aguero

Getting rid of Lacazette opens up options for me – currently considering the following:

1) Lacazette to Ings ; Kenedy to Mikhy
2) Lacazette to Ings ; Kenedy to Dilva/Bilva
3) Lacazette to Ings ; Peltier to Alonso

If I was certain on Dilva/Bilva starting every week I’d pull the trigger on that straight away I think.

Alonso is tempting – not sure if I’ve owned him before actually. Would leave me a bit light up front though.

Thinking of giving King another week or 2 to do something - not convinced by any other options in that price range tbh

Had 2ft and decided to give Lacazette another chance. On saturday did
Cedric -> Mendy,
Sane -> Fraser,
Firmino -> Aguerooo.
Thinking about selling PVA for some bench fodder in a couple of weeks and play wanB instead. Might swap Laca for Auba then.

I think Dilva looks safe and great value at 8.4

Already have 3 premium defs so either upgrade Kenedy or spend more on the Lac replacement.

Ings does look great value though. What about Zaha/Arnie?

Considering replacing him with Mane but it would cost me 4 points and I'm already taking a hit this week. I have Salah and Roberson too.
