Finding this guy a bit preachy to be honest.

It's his show, he thinks it's ok to be preachy

Such absolute nonsense from the mouths of adults is mind boggling. All these people vying to be in a cultish gang, bowing down to imaginary beings. It's beyond ludicrous. Pfffft.

    It's called brainwashing.

De Papal Visit Holy Joe Show Estimated Fees Calulcator and dat:
Fock me dat will break de Calculator.

Current estimated fees are €2,500 for 75mins, so €2,000 per hour.

    4 hours x €2,000 = €8,000.

    Double Time on a Sunday = €16,000.

    Triple Time on a Sunday = €24,000.

    FOCK ME.

All based on the likely low figure-een of €2,000 per hour which is likely under-estimating and dat.

Plus dat's only allowing for on-air time. You can bet your ass there'll be a full day of rehearsals/run through on Saturday as well as a requirement to be there in advance of the air time etc. - he'll probably pull €50K out of dis nixer.

And need anudder week off to recover.

    Mother nature doing its thing.

Would he then have to ring in to his own show to complain about traffic or any slight changes to regulations?

He tweeted about Operation Freeflow a few years ago with a picture of him driving at the time through Dame Street. "A friend" reported it to the Gardai at the time as a dangerous driving incident. Needless to say they never heard anything back from the Gardai since. Joe likely didn't see it as such as drink driving is ok in his book remember?

It was likely a civil matter anyway.

Hang on, theres a two lane road with a footpath opposite the barrier.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,829 ✭✭✭✭Dan Jaman

Perhaps we should erect a barrier around the entire coastline to prevent anyone from falling in?
Or... and I know this is a bit off the wall... perhaps we could all exercise a bit of common cop-on and keep away from the edge?

Sure we live on an island and there are endless places where there are open quays and cliffs and so on. People who live near them soon learn their children, just like living beside a busy road or railway line.

Really sorry that a chap has died but honestly, we can't eliminate all possible potential danger from the world.

Joe mumbling 'Unending Grief' there. Ideal tagline for the Lahvlahn.
