You have to feel for Cronin. Guy has no luck.

Looking at the primary focus of Schmidt is to add depth to the squad in as many positions as possible, the full back situation looks the least addressed. The previous back-ups to RK were Zebo and to a lesser extent Payne, both of whom are no longer in the reckoning.

I think it would be beneficial for Ireland if Larmour spends a lot of next season at full back for Leinster.

While that is probably true based on time that the incumbent time on the pitch, lack of time for reserves, I'd be much more comfortable if he went down rather than Murray. We have several options at full back I would be happy with, arguably would offer more in certain aspects than RK. At scrum half, any potential replacement is inferior in every aspect of the game, significantly in some cases. We are so reliant on Murray.

Team bus 30 mins late getting to the stadium. Hopefully it will be a non issue by the end of the game.

Ah poor Cronin - I'm a bit of a an of his.

I think Ireland should win, but I expect it to be tight.

    Great scrum

Just keep popping it to Furlong until he inevitably breaks every tackle and ploughs over the try line.

    We're at it again

Falou commits a probable red card offense, ref doesn't blow it up - until Ireland turn it into a huge break away... because he blows it up for a knock on against the possibly seriously injured POM. My stream cut for a moment but I heard Sexton asked for TMO and ref said he's already referred to him and is happy with it... only to then have the TMO then call in to overrule him and leaving him with no option but to card Falou... so yellow it is.

Then a very clear and deliberate offside minutes later, stone wall, caught perfectly on camera... no card.

    This is just ropey.

    So broken I take it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,590 ✭✭✭CurryFlavoured

    Nobody following this?

12-9 ht, 1 yellow each, the one for folau was harsh imo.

Once again Ireland have much more possession/territory but can't convert, while Australia are more clinical in good positions. Hopefully it doesn't come back to bite us.

This will be decided by a last minute penalty or one magic line break.
