OOC: East and West are flipped since we're essentially standing on the underside of a map. So looking North then East is to the left, right?

Sarric starts out in a westerly direction.

OOC: I'm confused reading this :pac:

Vrakrash walks around in a circle waiting for Iuric and Sarric to decide which way to go.

    Karinth nods.

"Well Sarric is the High Elf, enlightened and all that, Ser Boros?"

Ser Boros is pointing around with his arms and turns.

"Coming, marching in snow will be a killer in this plate mail"

    He follows Karinth.

As they march the Sun eventually begins to dim to a cool red.

"No moon then?" Ser Boros sighs.

Iuric follows Sarric "We seek Tindolin Valley. There was a large battle there some 200 years ago according to that sage Dwarf."

Eventually the Sun extinguishes itself and a collection of twelve humanoid figures appear in the sky, singing, their skin glowing, providing about half the light of the moon.

Vrakrash sways to the singing, feeling rather sleepy.

One of the beings tilts its head in Jeremy's direction and smiles, without breaking the choral hymn. It then looks forward again.

From old texts back at the Academy Magus, Jeremy recalls the myths of the singing immortals of the Inner World, heroes raised to the strength of what the Outer World calls gods, who light up the world by night.

He also recalls long texts dealing with the differences between Gods of the Outer World and Immortals of the Inner.

Vrakrash stops swaying and looks rather sheepish.

'Uh.. no.. I can continue. Wherever it is we are going...'

An hour later Ser Boros suddenly stops and sits.

"Fellows, I can continue no longer, let us rest..."

He looks around in the empty snowy wastes.

    "...somewhere here"

Sarric stops beside ser boras, "take your rest champ."

He then blasts a fire bolt at some snow up ahead, and climbs into the crater out of the wind, sits and meditates.

Vrakrash looks down at Sarric meditating.

'I can do that now too... I think.'

He deigns against it and waits for Iuric to find a safe spot to rest.

Iuric searches around and notices a telltale depression in the snow about a quarter mile from where Ser Boros stopped. There's the entryway to a small cave buried at this spot.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,739 ✭✭✭Evade

Iuric addresses the group "I believe I've found a cave. It's bound to be better than spending the night out here" and he starts heading in that direction with light emanating from the back of his aromur.

Vrakrash follows Iuric to where he believes the cave is.

Iuric arrives at the area of the snow with the depression. The illumination from his light allows him to see small edges of rock jutting out of the snow.

Vrakrash suddenly gets a flash of strange images. Long beasts with bodies like tails, rocks floating in the air and then a hand reaching out to grab him.

When his vision returns to normal, no time has passed. He stands next to Iuric, where he also sees the rock edges.
