    Woodley will leave Covington in hospital.

    Woodley is terms of wrestling is several levels above Covington. One is a JC wrestler, the other is an NCAA Division 1 all-time great.

    He'll get slept early.

    Romero particularly conscious of gassing?

    Has taken a lot of strikes to that knee after what happened in the first fight.

    Hahaha, Chris "my boy" Weidman making title belt gestures. Three bad knockouts in a row and a win over a blown up welterweight who dropped and hurt him badly and he wants a title shot.

    He won PAC-10 title in his senior year after he lost his scholarship at Iowa. PAC-10 (now PAC-12) is one of the weakest conferences in division 1 wrestling (but one of the best in a few other sports).

    Romero looks every inch a man who suffered and struggled to try and make weight.

    Not entirely sure this fight should have gone ahead.

    The fight and the result is reminiscent of Bisping vs. Hendo 2. Consistency vs. Damage, and the former won out both times.

    ****ing hell not sure how you can give Whittaker that.

    Clearly lost the third and the fifth and the third at least had to be 10-8.

    In saying that, Whittaker is awesome. So so tough, especially with the hand injury.

    Happy for Whittaker to win that but it probably took serious time off his career. The chin clock is always ticking and when it’s gone, it’s gone for good. At least he wasn’t hit too often, sustained beatings are the absolute worst.

    Scorecards gave 10-9 across the board. 1,2,4 to Whittaker. 3 and 5 to Romero.

    Honestly like, if the third wasn't a 10-8, nothing is.
