The ones I found strange were the ones just introduced as representing a college. Like didn't say what they competed in at college and as if they're just there as part of a tournament.

New match type announced for Deadline (Dec 10th) called the Iron Survivor Challenge.

• Men's and Women's matches
• 5 competitors per match
• 25 minutes
• Starts with 2 then every 5 mins a new competitor enters
• Person with most falls wins. A fall can be pin, submission or DQ.
• The person who loses a fall will have to enter a penalty box for 90 seconds before reentering the match

So Championship Scramble meets King of the Mountain, I guess.

I guess there's no big advantage to being last in when falls could be happening in the 20 minutes you're not there.

In other news from last night, it looks like Alba and Mandy are finally done for now with Alba getting a new target.

Yeah that was a let down,had some bit of potential ...his attire looks like something from he put together himself from left overs in the materials dept...his athleticism is amazing but it's going to get too repetitive

Looks like it's alba fyre v Isla dawn at the next premium nxt event in probably a Scottish fireball match 😂 I haven't seen anything of Isla but she has a look that would have suited the Wyatt 6 (if that's still a thing)

They seem to be making Gacy a bit of a tweener going by the closing segment.

New Day being added seems pretty rushed. Pretty Deadly has to win and beating New Day would be big. I'm sure there'll be shenanigans.

Not sure what way the Iron Survivor matches will go.

Wasn't sure who would win the women's match but did not expect that result in the men's at all.

I think the matches worked well overall.

Not sure why they gave New Day the titles other than they hadn't won them before. Like someone will have to beat them so why not just have whoever that is beat Pretty Deadly directly? I assume it's to get more people watching.

So looks like they're going with Isla being able to curse people. Would like it to turn out that the ref was working with her and faked being cursed.

New Day winning is unexpected but I'm not massively against it given the main rosters titles are essentially held hostage at the moment. Wonder will they bring them to Smackdown and perhaps have a defence or two there before inevitably dropping them to an up and coming team. It also raises NXT's profile having them there even for a short run.

I expected Cora Jade to win the women's but I suppose with heel Mandy holding the belt it wasn't going to happen. Roxanne hopefully takes the title and Toxic Attraction can go up to Smackdown to be a much needed boost for that dumpster fire of a women's division at present. Tbh you could take Roxanne, Cora Jade, Toxic Attraction and

Bron and Apollo's match was fine, I thought it was a bit sloppy in places though. Bron needs to drop the title and move up but the problem is he's a very generic face. Don't know how he'd work out on the main roster even though he definitely seems like the next big thing in theory.

You say about Bron being a generic face and they more or less didn't help things last night by putting him up against Apollo and constantly pointing out the similarities. And we all know how Apollo did on the main roster. So they do need to work on that.

Not sure what to do with Toxic Attraction. With Bayley and co filling a similar role on the main roster, maybe they stick with one show and Toxic Attraction get the other?

Won't comment on the main event yet in case someone stumbles in here before watching, not that many seem to watch anyway.

But Lyra Valkyria made her debut and, as if to reinforce the fact she's Irish, they had it digitally rain on her the whole way to the ring for some reason.

I suspect it will be Cora Jade. There's no one else on NXT that fits the group's mold, and she's attractive as well. Plus she has a history with Roxanne so I assume they will just continue their rivalry over the NXT Women's Championship. Either that or Gigi and Jacy just go it as a tag team themselves. They've already appeared together on the main roster anyway so they could easily be called up to the main roster without a third member.

So Sol Ruca is meant to be a face I presume, yet stood back while Alba was being attacked?
