Someone high up in RTE has to have shares in a stetson company, it's wall to wall with country music, I know not 1 single person in to country music.

    I’m into country music!

    Actually, no I’m not :D

    Didn’t he say, if you didn’t fart, you’d explode:D

He did. Physically you have to fart he said, it's scientifically proven you'll explode if you supress a fart too long!

Are the audience on something? They seem very boisterous tonight

I'd rather someone ladle diarrhoea into my ears than listen to country music

Maeve Higgins was like beyond painful like.

I though they just picked her out of the audience at random, I can't believe she's actually famous like.

    Dave Allen..

He was the 'if you feel a fart, fart' comedian wasn't he..

Dave Allen was so so funny. I'm too young to remember him in his prime, but i discovered his stuff in later life and he makes me laugh.

Most older people are country fans where I live but I am not, however I listen to the odd Daniel O'Donnell song from time to time.

Big crowds all over the land going to country gigs, in fairness.

They should do a LLS Irish music special every year.

The audience noises are pre-recorded from the Valentines show.

Is someone tuning a guitar in the background or am I hearing things?

The Red Cow and The Spa Lucan have regular country nights.

Sounds like the opening line to a blues song!

    Finbar mentioning The Corries..

This is going to be heresy but i prefer the other Celtic nations anthems to Our Soldiers' Song. Ours is good but i prefer Wales 'Land of Our Fathers' and Scotland's 'Flower of Scotland'.

Also i think we're stuck on The Fields of Athenry and Ole, Ole, Ole where the Welsh have so many great songs like Bread of Heaven, Calon Lan etc. We seriously need a few more songs for sporting occasions..and we have them only we're stuck on The Fields.

Just on Dave Allan, i was never a major fan of his sketches. But it's his stand up stuff that i adore.

When he dies, he's guaranteed to go to heaven because hell hath no Furey.
