    The missus called me to tell me that the dog took a wee on a tennis ball.


    I'm not sure what's made me happier, knowing the dog is a little gobsh*te, or that it was so impressive it needed a phone call.

    Good ice cream. I had a not-too-pleasant morning of hospital appointments and shoe shopping, but stopping I managed to get amazing ice cream in the gelateria in Bray on the way home. Really cheered me up.

    There's this lovely motherly cook where I work and she saves me lovely treats to have with my tea in the afternoons. She's so, so, so, so nice. I asked her if she was interested in adopting me, she said she'll think about it.
