IIRC, it's also the name of a grape (or something that sounds a lot like it, anyway...). :)

Indeed. A grape and a rather nice wine too.

My old man. Was brought into hospital new years eve for a chest infection. Found out was two tumors, 1 behind the heart. He's been through hell and back with weeks of chemo, didnt do much, surgery which got bits out and then chemo and radiotherapy at the same time.
Was in hospital for weeks on end in and out.
Went through his last lot of chemo recently and while its up in the air so is he.
The man is a machine, always full of optomism and buzzing, doesnt faze him at all.

Visited home last week and mentioned i was looking for a new car, he's been sending me some serious deals all week. Real research on them with one i think i might buy. Some man

That game of rugby this evening. Wow!! That's the best Irish performance I've ever seen I reckon.

I know Seph may not see this, but thinking of him as I type..

People tend to think cats are less intelligent than dogs.... WE all know here that that is not true!

In the middle of the night, my biggest 14 year old was curled up fast asleep on my bed.. ( I was fast asleep too). The two tinies were in the kitchen, the 2 black and white boys out on the razzle.... deluging and noisy so sound deafened.

Suddenly. big cat starts walking all over me, yowling. He weighs nearly 2 stone so that is serious... I yell at him as I am forced to wake up, but he just carries on, pounding, walking, yelling...

Finally I put the light on and realise that the 2 boys are caught out in the deluge and big cat can hear them so is mithering me until I get up and let them in.... Bullets from a gun when I opened the door..

Now THAT is bright.... makes me happy..

I finally have some TH's after a tough few weeks. It's good to be back!

Our musical finished on Friday night. The kids did an amazing job and I am so proud of them. They're so talented!

I finally have some free time to myself! I managed to clean the house this morning.

My best friend is home from England and I got to see her and her baby. Today we are off to Dublin to see our other friend and her newborn baby.

My boyfriend was at a stag this weekend so I was home alone in our new house for the first time. His parents called up with a bottle of wine and a chat last night! So cute :D

People love to moan about airports and often it’s justified. That dump “Brussels South” - Charleroi, I’m looking at you!!

I’ve praised the Dublin staff before and I’m here to do it again. We scanned our boarding passses in terminal one and of those pink jacket helpers was splitting people into queues for security. Ah you know the area if you ever used terminal one in Dublin

Someone had left an unopened bottle of Bombay gin on a table as they won’t get it past security. Oh well, mistakes happen

The pink shirt guy was shouting at 100 plus people to stay away from the gin on the table. It was his now and he was gonna drink it on his break and was looking forward to it. So lucky he was today, unopened bottle yaaay. He was gas :D

TH at having to keep a straight face and pretend to be an X Factor judge while the 6 Yr old in her Elsa dress threw shapes that were something between interpretative dance and a jig. Also the singing of made up songs , God love her she hasn't a note in her head :). Having 2 much older I intend to thoroughly enjoy every moment like this, they grow up too quickly. This is the stuff I will miss.

My boyfriend. So good to spend time with him over the weekend, even if it only felt like he was here for an hour. And he was texting me saying really cute stuff this evening, so even though I miss him, I’m happy too :)
