There are 2 Rapids alright. Another one is 182-C-2018, there’s a 182-C-1979 Rapid too.

Woohoo, a Skoda dealer doubled their Rapid sales target for the year so.

I will ask this here instead of starting a thread as I think I probably already know the answer. Someone bursted the side of my car while it was parked in the short term at the airport. I flew in yesterday but didn't notice til today. Anything can be done or just chalk it up?

Unless CCTV picked it up nothing you can do.

Contact them with times and ask.

You could also try the new gdpr rolling and seek any footage from you driving it to the point you left.

If any of ye are in Prague, make sure ye go to the National Technical Museum, there's old cars, trains, bikes, motorbikes and loads of other stuff. Will put up some photos when I've returned back to planet earth (i.e. Dublin) during the week.

You might want to go on your own
if you're in the city with someone who is not interested in cars or transport though :pac:.

The Toyota hybrids make huge sense IMO. 12k miles can be done for €1634.4 at 50mpg and €1.50/litre.

Consider that cost and EVs make little enough sense for the average motorist doing 12k miles/annum IMO.

Car wash businesses are not affected by hosepipe ban. With all due respect sirs, you're just making excuses. ;)

Ah isn't it great to live in a county where it rains all the time. No hose pipe ban at all all year even during the heat wave....

Ah, I actually enjoy doing it myself. And my coupe doesn't have frames around the glass in the doors. And given its age it means they are not water tight when a lad with a power washer goes to town. Hence I generally avoid those car washes... but if push comes to shove I suppose.

This sounds we're going to be the only European country where they're doing this. They're still going to call it the Auris in the rest of Europe as far as I know. On the other hand, places like Australia and Japan never called it the Auris. Sure with the return of the Camry and whatnot, they might as well go the whole hog and re-brand the Yaris as the Starlet!

    It's Corolla across Europe.

They’re rebranding the Verso as the Picnic too.

I went to start the volvo this evening and the battery was dead as a doorknob. I disconnected the dash cam but never took it off the hardwire in the fusebox. Would this gave drained the battery? It hasn't been moved in about 6 weeks to be fair though.

According to Auto Express(I know) the UK will get the Corolla badged hatch, crossover and estate too (they are built there). No confirmation of them getting the saloon but probably unlikely.

For here it's a numbers game for market share. Sticking the Corolla badge on the hatch and estate means they bump up numbers when it comes to bragging rights on what's the best seller against the like of the Focus, i30, etc which don't have different names on different variants.
