We’re not getting the depths in my corner of D15 that others in Dublin are reporting. We’ve maybe 2 inches.

Has the streamer 'stalled'? It doesn't look like it has made any progress in the last hour?

That is what I told my husband when he complained about me still looking out the window - I won’t even say what he call me and fellow snow enthusiasts 😡
I reckon we will all be talking about this for years to come! A real once in a lifetime experience.
    Although,
My children now think Santa is coming in the morning.

Unbelievably, still pelting down with snow in dublin 5. The snow is now rising up from the road to the top of the curbs!! Never thought it would snow anything close to this much tonight, amazing. Just stepped outside and absolute silence as the snow tumbled down, could hear a pin drop

The Silence is amazing allright - noticed it taking those pics - Walk on the snow - Listen to that!!

    DO IT!!!!

I’d say we have about an inch here in Dublin 18, if even that.

Forecast showing snow showers all day today though.

Still not even as much as flake here in Clare. Anybody care to predict if any is headed this way in the next 2 hours or so?

I went out in it, I was dying to walk and hear the crunch , easily 6 inches here in rathfarnham now , I'd say another 6 today alone

    In Naas,

Me last night before bed: We got nothing

Looked outside at 4am. HOLY CRAP, WHERE IS MY GARDEN!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,188 ✭✭✭Fian

Got up to have a look, i was asleep. Dundrum, dublin 14. Can't see where teh road ends and the footpath starts out the window.

Let my two labs out to teh back garden, they heard me get up. They went crazy for 10 minutes racing around garden.

    Continues to fall steadily.

I didn't bring work home with me yesterday, planned to do so this evening. I imagine luas will be ok tomorrow though?

I expect, based on what i am seeing out our windows, a red warning will issue tomorrow, for thursday.
