What channel is this on tonight?

ITV or it's affiliates. VM are showing this episode tomorrow night (at the same time as the next ITV episode...)

Not much drama yet tonight. Apart from Adelaide.

    Morocco was always wrong.

They use a gurney I think in one of the velodrome cycling events. Similar to the safety car in formula 1, only when it pulls off the track does the race begin.
This would have thrown me. Fair play to Jeremy, and he knew the Condor was a vulture the previous night but not asked.

This bloke it's quick, although a bit smug!

    63% audience rendered useless by a 50:50!

    Pretty awful question though.

    Chomsky(2017) on the Republican party

"Has there ever been an organisation in human history that is dedicated, with such commitment, to the destruction of organised human life on Earth?"

The wuss. What did he go on the show for to coward off from a chance to win big money. He could have had 125 thousand pounds.

And herein lies the problem with the non-multicasting for the rest is this week, I was wondering how on earth you were calling tonight's guy a wuss when he hadn't even called it yet!

Like Water John, I'd have been stumped by the gurney, but oddly, the Herschel question seemed easier for quiz buffs.

So we're one ep behind ITV on Virgin now? I missed eps last time aswell with their BS, is it that hard to stick to a schedule for a pretty big programme like this?

Awe that old one was unlucky after getting by the football question with Jeremy's help and then getting the question about the capital of Queensland wrong. Should have used a lifeline if she was not sure.

Makes no sense. Either you show the programme the way it's being shown on the parent channel or don't bother.

So two useless audiences tonight, only the first time 50:50 ruled them out, and this time it didn't.

Shame for her ambiguous phone a friend though.

Or they could at least try a show two episodes one after the other the next day to catch up or even the day before if they have them and are allowed which might not be.

WTF? Morocco is South of Spain and Portugal, she had potential but that was moronic.

Also whats Clarkson on about, due South of the Isle of Man the first land is Antarctica? Was that a joke Im not getting or something? South of the Isle of Man you hit Wales, then a big chunk of Europe and Africa...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,816 ✭✭✭TheChrisD

I was having horror visions of the audience going 50:50 between PowerPoint and Excel, given how useless they'd been tonight!

It was either Portugal or Spain. Was crazy her going for Morocco alright. That's after both of them and is at the top east of Africa as far as I know.

It certainly was not France that's up from Cornwall. Cornwall is at the bottom of the UK so it had to be Portugal or Spain. I ruled France out straight away.

Lands end is in Cornwall ? And looking at the map due south it just skims past France .There is actually not much in it and without a map to hand I wouldnt have rules it out .It cant be Portugal as Spain goes across the north of Portugal

Figuring out the horizontal line isn't difficult, but due to various map types, the vertical is tricky.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,248 ✭✭✭✭iamwhoiam

I think Clarkson mixed up Isle of Mann and Iceland !!

Yes I thought about that after so it had to be Spain. She should have thought about it a bit more before answering.
