I wouldn't have been sure but the one I know for a fact was foreign secretary was Eden. Churchill was first lord of the admiralty I know that but I'd certainly not risk a million pound on a hunch.

He's used lifelines when he was reasonably confident of the answers.

That first guy came across like a good actor. I have had that suspicion about other contestants on this Clarkson version of the show too. Just a small few, but usually fairly big winners. I wouldn't put it past these tv producers nowadays!

Still it was only by pure luck I got to see episode 7 as was on boards at the time and checked the thread then the station and recorded it.
