I felt sorry for the guy last night, he was excellent, but I thought he completely messed up by openly talking about how Tinker Tailor was a Cold War movie before asking the audience. That would completely sway anyone who didn't know to vote for it.

And how would they enforce it. There is a time limit to vote. It isn't a case of waiting until last person votes.

Everybody has to vote within the time frame?

Frankly I believe the ATA lifeline is as good as useless beyond a certain point, probably 32k. Two contestants last night went with PAF as their first lifeline which I could never ever endorse. The audience for me first every time.

Yes! You are missing the point! How would they enforce everyone to use their vote!!

Are they thrown out of ITV studio if they fail to hit the button!

Great! How many episodes this series?

Five. Every day this week at 9pm bar Tuesday (football) and Saturday (The Voice).

Oddly though, ITV are showing it Monday-Friday. So are VM1 going to be running a day behind, only fully catching up on Sunday? That's going to **** up banter on Twitter...

EDIT: Yep, so checking the sky guides for English regions shows it like this - this series is listed as Episodes 7-11 of Series 32.

    Episode|ITV|VM1
    E7|Monday|Monday
    E8|Tuesday|Wednesday
    E9|Wednesday|Thursday
    E10|Thursday|Friday
    E11|Friday|Sunday
