When has Phoenix published false materials?

The media will skew a story to suit their own agenda.

I've checked the phoenix's articles from November 3rd and July 27th last.

Seems Muahahaha has very poor recollection skills - as he does in other threads. ("stacks" of workers killed in uk roadworks by errant motorists - actual figure is ONE in the past five years)

Phoenix claimed incorrectly in July that losses carried forward are €2m. In Nov they said losses carried forward were €1.3m.

So either they are wrong or according to their figures the hotel made 700k in 2016. Profit was 91k

The figure of 1.3m is total liabilities. Not carried forward losses.

The phoenix probably incorrectly assumed that as there are no bank borrowings or mortgages to explain this figure, that it must be "losses". Most likely it is loans made by directors - fairly commonplace and they would show up in the exact heading that the phoenix looked at.

Were both articles referring to the same financial year - same set of accounts?

Yes. One article last July, the other November. Both quoting same year.

It was not in their financial articles which are excellent. Just small tittle-tattle stories where less checking is used.

See white moose man outed for driving and being on Snapchat at the same time. If you can’t drive down the street without thinking it needs to be documented then it’s probably time to have a look at yourself
