So Petrobras will be replacing BP and Castrol as fuel and lubricant supplier to McLaren.

I have to say I do like that livery. Still doesn't take over from my all time favourite from Renault though. 2005/6.
    Beautiful car to look at.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the new cars will look in natural light. Only six days to testing.

Renault Front end = minardi 2000 car
Renault side angle = minardi 2001 car

Very simple looking at first, the side-pods look very conventional compared to what we have seen.

I agree the R25 and R26 are beautys and there is a nice piece about the R25 in this months F1 magazine about how it should be regarded as a classic now.
They do look small do compared to todays F1 cars.

I like the new car and I like the Livery on it as well do.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Here is pics off all the cars launched so far. I have to say looking at them altogether I think its the Haas that looks the best so far with the Red Bull and the Williams looking the dullest.

Have to say I find that Renault kind of sexy. Side on anyway

The red bull seems to have a really drastic "coke bottle" look to it at the back compared to the Sauber and Haas. The latter 2 seem to have sidepods that go right back to the rear tyre but the RB sidepods sweep away and has a big gap between the engine cover and rear tyre.

Hard to tell for certain from the photos. Does anyone else see what I mean?

I hope Renault hasn't tried to be too clever.

Apparently, this years Ferrari will have no white and the numbers will be grey.

Would be nice if it had a paint job like the one on the F2007:

So dull I'd forgotten that it was already launched til you mentioned it!

Renault is the best looking so far IMO. Probably at least partially due to the fact that its livery does the best job at hiding the halo.

Maybe just because I miss the Jordan days - but I wish the Renault was more yellow and less black!

Which livery, if any would you bring back over the last 25 years (1992-2017)?

The 2 I would love to see again are gone forever.

    Rothmans Williams Renault(1994)

    Orange Arrows Supertec(2000)

For me there are quite a few. The Jaguar, Renaults above, Bar Honda, the 2000/2001 Benetton was a beauty too, but maybe a bit of a surprise one but I loved the Toyota livery.

The 1996 williams instead of the 1994 one IMO.

    The bitten & hisses Jordan.

Pretty much any ferrari from 1992-2006.

The 1993 Ferrari with its V12 engine singing, oh good lord that sound :D

The torro Rosso and red bull on track, is that actual testing or just their 'media allowance'.

According to the BBC, each team is allowed 100km for shake down and photography prior to official testing.

    This too shall pass.

That's what I meant by media allowance. Couldn't think of the proper term.
I'd say there is a fair amount of data gathered over them 100km though

If you take an average Lap distance of 5km that's the equivalent of 20 laps. You'd get more laps done in a single Free practice session and I doubt they'd be allowed to fit aero rakes and the likes.

    This too shall pass.

First peak at the Toro Rosso. Looks like it's moving so some improvement from Honda.
well that depends, it could be water spray, but equally it could be coming from the engine :D

I'd love if Honda had a great engine this season.

The Jaguar R1 has a lovely livery:

Remember, just because the photo is official doesn't mean the photo is accurate.

That said, I'm glad to see claims have been made of a Honda engine actually powering an F1 car this year.
