He's shed 2 of 3 pacers already though. Strange. Why would you have pacers who couldn't get to the 10 mile mark?

The must have been on the beer last night. I think I might be able to keep up with him....on a bike.

See the bloke giving Kipchoge his drinks?? Every 2 or 3k!!!!
The guy give a little fist clench every time it goes smoothly. Lovely.
Then he hops back on the bike and flakes off after Eliud again.

The guy giving him his drinks is struggling on the bike so don't be too confident. Haha

great idea instead of getting one person who hasn't got a clue. a bit like rupp and his ice hats in rio.

The record is toast here I reckon. Kimetto ran the second half in 61:12 and Kipchoge is destroying those spits looking ridiculously comfortable. Could be a sub-2:02 by the looks of it:eek:

Would have to agree. Conditions are perfect. 5 Women on sub 2:20 pace still and 2 on sub 2:18. It's today or never.

Jebus (formerly of this parish), is looking really good for a low 2:29 time. At the 25km mark, his 5k splits haven't wavered at all. Rob Murphy (Rathfarnham) is still looking good for 2:26.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,135 ✭✭✭rom

    35k WR

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,983 ✭✭✭Duanington

unreal - he's running solo now though and it gets warm pretty quickly from 11 onwards from memory. Would love to see him do it

Supposed to be gone for my run but can't take my eye off it. He looks strong, explaining it to my 8 year old daughter and she's like....'you're weird, it's just a dude running on his own'
