Lovely and sunny here in Dublin 15.

Hardly a cloud in the sky.

Killarney is a disaster zone with bodies on high street and buildings collapsing, thankfully it was largely untouched by storm ophelia.

Breeze picking up, but to be honest need to see a few palm trees bending to create a bit of atmosphere...

    Dublin city centre:

Was talking to my postman seconds ago, all delivery vans must return to the depot by 12 noon in Dublin, something to do with their insurance policy. Still collection/delivery in the morning.

South Dublin 10 a.m.: I can hear the wind. An hour ago it was calm.

Just whipped down to the sister's house in Ballyroan there for 10 mins to get the wheelie bin etc in, noticed on the way back it's starting to swirl too.

Still time for that hurricane insurance folks I'll even throw in some shark and volcano insurance, no better way to pay for a weekend in Vegas for me, or should I say ensure your safety, yeah let's go with that.
