    Footballers playing well apparently.

If I was the hurling management theres not a hope I’d be going out to win that game today. 1B looks handy for next year!

Hurlers pull out an unlikely win, footballers battled well but fell away at the very end.

Its called Division 1 Group A and Division 1 Group B.

Injuries ravaged the footballers, very unlucky as they were supposedly playing well. Down to 13 for the last few minutes because of injures.

So Cork are in with Limerick, Tipp, Waterford, Galway and Westmeath in Group A. Group B is Wexford, Clare, Kilkenny, Dublin, Laois and Carlow.

Massive win for the hurlers without Hoggy and Kearney. Fair play.

That win was actually the first Cork senior hurling win in Nowlan Park in 32 years

A last minute goal to beat a largely experimental Kilkenny team which is in a difficult place itself is hardly evidence to dispute any such claims.

Is it Kildare your footballers play in the last round?

Thread has all of a sudden become a little bit more positive with a certain banning. Its amazing how 1 poster can annoy so many.

Think you could extend that sentiment to more than one thread - won't know what to do with all the free time!

The Cork Senior Hurling Team will play @KilkennyCLG in a benefit match for the Kieran O' Connor fund on Wednesday March 27th at 7.30pm in Páirc Uí Rinn. Further details to be announced. @friendsofkieran #friendsofkieran

Wrt to football, my understanding is that Cork must beat Armagh to have a chance of staying up. But if Clare beat Tipp, Cork & Tipp go down irrespective of Cork result in Armagh. A Cork win plus a Tipp win or draw v Clare and it’s Tipp & Clare relegated.

Probably all academic as Cork don’t look like they can beat Armagh anyway.

    All-Ireland PPS Croke Cup U19 A SF (FT) St Kieran’s College 0-17 (17) CBC 0-15 (15).

pity CBC or Midleton couldn't make it to an All Ireland final but they have both given a lift to Cork GAA over the winter
