Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dessie Dolan brings so little to commentary. Just restates what already happened.

Cooper knocked off the ball. No free.

O'Shea pulled off the ball. Free.

The camera saw it. The ref didn't. Thousands in Croke Park would not have noticed it either. You are getting the advantage of TV replays. Did you see it live?

Is the Mayo keeper wearing shin guards?!

    Mayo hitting a purple patch.

Doherty, Moran and O'Shea are unreal so far

Moran looks like odds on for player of the year now. Cluxton's kickouts have been mediocre.

Moran playing superbly despite being marked by two sometimes three - Mayo cleaning up Dublin kickouts as well

O'Gara is not good enough to be on the pitch, it's a poor call from Gavin imo anyway not that it means much!

Don't know what Cooper was doing. You play the whistle. He sat on the ground with his arms up while play continued and Mayo got a point.

Ciaran Kilkenny has barely touched the ball

How are the two boyos from Sky getting on with the commentary?

Don't think it's live anywhere is it?
Maybe just highlights for AIB YouTube afterwards.

Literally 5 yards on front of the free between free and goalposts. Umpires, linesmen??

Quite enjoying the non partisan commentary on sky. Its missing all the usual drama and is very low key and matter of fact.

Sherlock went straight in after the last kickout that was won by Mayo - Mayo doing a superb job cutting out the shorter options for Cluxton

Very poor point given away by Mayo.

Impressive Donegal style counter attack by Dublin.

Big Joe Dublin's best player so far.

Bad decision from the ref, Mayo player was clearly pulled down.

Yeah I think AIB will just use it for videos afterwards - don't think its in association with sky.

They can't call it for the referee. Plus the ball wasn't in play so it wouldn't have been a Dublin free anyway.

As Dessie has just said it's going on all over the park. Every game could have twice the number of frees if the officials spotted everything.

Was wondering who it was. He's so sh*te. Exactly as you said, Just restates what already happened. Good aul Marty on co-comm would be the dream :P

Good stuff from Mayo so far

There have been a few cute fouls by Dublin in their own half and they've basically sat on players when on the ground on a few occasions too. Ref is not giving some fairly blatant ones

Cluxton is having a disaster with his kick outs.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,869 ✭✭✭PeterTheNinth

Mayo are well on top and still only a point ahead. That's a bit worrying. They aren't gonna be this much on top for the rest of the game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,243 ✭✭✭C__MC

Another real poor all Ireland by Dublin

    Some chance for mayo

McQuillan trying to kill the game with cards.

    Cillian O'Connor not playing well.

Surely Dermo on second half. Especially with Keegan already on a tightrope.

Very worrying. They've missed 4 or 5 gilt edged chances.

Very hard for a keeper when there are no options

Can't believe O Connor missed that free - very poor

Dublin have to be better second half. Can't be any worse. Mayo should be out of sight

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,600 ✭✭✭TheCitizen

Mayo have a sub that's better than O'Connor at taking frees

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,231 ✭✭✭TheRiverman

Dublin are a long way from the hype so far.

Another off the ball foul by Dublin not spotted. O'Gara should be black carded.

Cillian O'Connor could cost Mayo another final

Better for Mayo if he's on.

O Gara twice around the neck in the space of 15 seconds - and looked like an eye gouge as well
