Big Mike is going to be a welcome addition. Very efficient drive.

First ever fumble for Kareem Hunt. Patriots on fire on both sides of the ball early.

Brady's done, past it. Gronk too.

Huh, odd. Wouldn't have gone for it on fourth, but the officials review is a bit pointless, looked clearly behind the line.

Really don't agree going for it again, esp no sneaking Brady... almost like Belichick got possessed by Mike McCarthy for a few moments there.

Baffling alright, didn't even look close.

    D not looking sharp

I really, really enjoy watching Andy Reid offenses when he's in full form like this and calling weird plays all over the place. Got to be so hard for coordinators to cover all those little spaces in the short-to-medium range while worrying about trick plays and expansive running.

Chiefs tie it up, serious drive there - 90 yards in 12 plays.

McCourty manhandled there. Poor showing all round so far on D.

Yeah D didn't look so good there, beaten everywhere on that drive.

Looks like we'll be playing the season without a defense.

    looks short again

Wouldn't go getting too down yet, let's see how it progresses, esp after half time - it is Belichick after all (said that at half time in the SB too!). The man is a right bollix for making you think someone might pull the upset, then slowly dragging the other team to a 6-9pt second half while Brady ramps up for 17-20 on the other side of the ball.

The clown flags on the FG lol can't avoid that

Big momentum stop for the D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,719 ✭✭✭JaMarcusHustle

That'll do nicely. We always adjust well once we see what the opposition is running on offense, and when they run out of scripted plays.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,510 ✭✭✭Hazys

Yeah once the Chiefs run out of their scripted plays, its a different game

Good work by the D there.

I'm a bit worried for the ST's tonight. Chiefs are a good kick return team and Slater and Ebner are both missing tonight.
