A man has been shot in the centre of Brussels after attacking two soldiers with a knife, according to reports.
Pictures from the scene show the area cordoned off with police and emergency services in the street.

Fortunately, the Mail are reporting that the attacker is dead. No doubt later reports will reveal the attacker was 'known to counter-terror services'.

Police officers attacked outside buckingham palace this evening, minor injuries. Attacker arrested. Further info needed but almost certainly terror related given the location, the chosen victims and the number of recent attacks across europe in the last week
