Yeah, I sent to a 'friend/family' and no fees were charged, but I have been told if you don't have funds on your PayPal account they will charge you a fee, so I recommend topping up your PayPal account and then transferring funds from paypal to paypal, instead of using your card to transfer money to another user.

Dont top up with your credit card as you may get hit with a cash advance charge from the visa company.

I've never topped up in advance to PayPal but the likes of lotto, paddy power gets hit with cash advance, maybe because of the beating nature of them?

I'd be interested in doing this also, but setting up a new account would be a pain in the balls. I'll join a group if I can keep my current (Premium) account.

ok, so to keep the existing account would i better off changing my address to parcel motel one as someone else mentioned before?... or leave it as is? ... itll be obvious we all dont live together though

You just all need to enter the same address. Whoever is setting up the family account should let you know what address is being used and you all use the same.
