I'd say Johnny wasn't as bad as Ron 'Chopper' Harris

Ah, so *this* is why they allowed that old couple to take over JB's interview proper... ;)

I don't recall Mir actually telling a guest to stay there for when the next proper guest comes on.

Is it possible that she and the producers actually decided to take a leaf out of Graham Norton's book...? :o:D;)

Must have been hard going over as a young lad on your own those days, probably no phones at home to call the folks either to say you even got there.

Some of the tackles they did back then would result in police questioning for assault today.

    Yeah, they were different times

He punched Kevin Keegan's lights out here, referee took no action!

I think he successfully sued over the book its based on.

    Still a great film though

He would probably be on £100k a week in todays money.

And maybe even more. The dough has increased exponentially ever since a certain R Murdoch arrived on the football scene.

Leeds gone to the dogs in the modern day, I think though this year there's hope of them returning to the Premier League.

Whereas we'll be seeing a much smaller Yorkshire club in the PL next season... :D:);)

He sued the Author of that book and won, that's why his character is hardly in the fillum.

Annoyed by Peace's supposed portrayal of him as a "winking, scheming leprechaun" – the term he uses in his new autobiography – Giles dismisses both book and film as "rubbish". He will not budge in his insistence that authors should not fictionalise around real events to locate an essential truth.

John has his trademark Bacardi and Coke in his hand.

I know, Johns, but if the team is going to suffer because a player is tired, isn't it better for him to put his hand up and tell the manager?

Miriam hasn't a scooby doo (or an iota of interest) in what the 2 John's are talking about.

    Car crash stuff.
