40% of the town are 'White Irish'

    http://www.irishexaminer.com/lifestyle/features/life-in-ballyhaunis-irelands-most-culturally-diverse-town-369099.html

Dunno why Im bothering to post this, you only come on these threads to virtue signal, you arent interested in actual facts.

I only use actually facts. You're using outdated figures for some reason.

Any reason why you're bringing skin colour into it? Does it make you feel uncomfortable that Irish people could be a different skin colours?

Now, does anybody have figures to back up "60% of the population are middle eastern immigrants"? Anyone?

There are no Brazilian that I know of blowing themselves up all over Europe. And as for Ballyhaunis, you should try asking people who live there about what's really going on in the town, puff pieces in the papers never want to address the tensions that are simmering there.

Can I ask what is happening there?

So the paper is lying and you know about tensions there.

    Anything to back it up?

Would it be safe to say now that multi-culturism in europe between members of the islamic faith and the natives is a massive failure ? I see interfaith multi-culturism as a liberal dream steeped in delusion and imagination

The vast majority of those Muslims are here following the American dream. A secularist society where they can earn a fair wage and practice their religion freely. Religion has little to do with someone moving to the west, if it was they'd stay at home or move to another Muslim country. They come here for the lifestyle.

Lol, that must be why my local in D8 is jammed with Muslims, they come for the lifestyle

You're being pedantic, I told you to go see for yourself, spend a half hour there and you'll see what a ghetto its turning into, my own eyes back it up not sure why you refuse to believe it.

This beefing up of security at key locations such as Downing Street is window dressing as no attack is likely to happen there as these lunatics seek soft targets and innocent people.
There was an attack on Westminster only two months ago... the guy was taken out but he still managed to kill several people

    Read this http://www.spiegel.de/international/the-future-of-terrorism-what-al-qaida-really-wants-a-369448.html

It was published in 2005 and lays out Al-Qaeda's plan to attack the west up to 2020.

Everything in it has panned out.

The stage we are just entering according to their plan is total confrontation.

Interesting article but I would say that very little of their plan has panned out like you claim.

Israel still strong, IS being destroyed in Iraq and Syria.

Just because Al -Quaeda had a plan, which is logical means that that it was successful nor do the majority of muslims take part.

Being pedantic by calling you out on your xenophobia and scare mongering.

I haven't heard of any racial tensions or incidents in Ballyhaunis.

    I wonder why that is?

    Maybe because they haven't happened.

You've not been to Kilburn lately have you, Irish are a tiny minority there far outnumbered by Somali's and Bangladeshi's.
One town you say. So we write that one off then? How big does a problem have to get for you to consider it worth addressing?

From Wiki so take with appropriate salt grains.

13% of the population was born in Ireland[citation needed] with an even higher percentage of second-generation (born in England of Irish descent) people, [clarification needed] giving it the highest Irish population of any London area.[16] Irish community activities, pubs, local GAA sports clubs,[17] and annual St Patrick's Day celebrations are prominent in parts of the area. The 2007 Irish-language film Kings has been associated with Kilburn, and is based on Jimmy Murphy's play, The Kings of the Kilburn High Road.[18]

The Kilburn ward of Brent was 28% White British, 17% White Other, and 12% Black African in the 2011 census.[19] The Kilburn ward of Camden was 35% White British and 19% White Other.[20] The Maida Vale ward of Westminster was 38% White British and 22% White Other.[21]

There are too many violent Islamic insurgencies, too many crimes committed, too much violence, too many sympathisers to just say these are fringe elements.

Clearly there is something wrong with a large number of followers of Islam, that they are willing to resort to extreme violence at the drop of a hat.

The main criticism I have is with martyrdom operations where the martyr is promised rewards. Unfortunately this appears to be a core tenet of Islam.
Worth counterbalancing by mentioning the violence perpetrated by the west

Drone strikes which are assassination by another name

    Bombing campaigns and civilian casualties

Night raids gone wrong-women and children killed

Very little? Read it again. It's a 7 point plan and the first 5 points have all but happened. They might have faltered on Israel but IS is far from destroyed in Iraq and Syria.

Having all the Muslims take part has nothing to do with it.

Muslims have been in Europe since the middle ages in some form or an other. Multiculturalism can't fail, unless we're planning on wiping the other cultures off the face of the planet.

Well they're not as predisposed to drinking as some Irish people. You wouldn't see me down the local that often either, maybe you should try spending time in places other than the pub.

There must be virtually no crime in Pakistan et al so

Or are you saying that its the non-Muslims that are responsible for all of the crime there? Is that not racist? I cant keep up

Arabic states have not collapsed apart from Libya but different circumstances.

Caliphate has been declared but in a small area and is being pushed back.

They are nowhere near their total victory aim by 2020.

In a sea of sensationalism and hypocrisy it is sadly way too much to ask that the British people take some time for quiet and realistic introspection about their states role in why the world is how it is.
Bombarded with The Sun headlines they wont consider the calm reasonable message here and will re-install the Tories:

Good man indeed. Islamic societies are rife with criminal social issues caused by a poisonous ideology, before we even get to people blowing up children at concerts. Im sure abused women and LGBT people trapped in these societies are comforted by western liberals coming on the internet telling us how perfect Islam is.

My girlfriend is Muslim and even she has remarked on the amount of Muslims here not integrating.

In particular she can't understand the women wearing the headscarves and face veils. She said they are brainwashed.

She gets really mad at the celebrity types that have recently taken up campaigns to embrace the headscarf. She said they should go and live in Saudi Arabia for a while and then see if they still feel the same.

I was in Pakistan, Syria, Nigeria, Iran, Somalia, Niger and Algeria to name few Muslim countries between 2006-7 and to say that everything is 99.9% perfect is living with box over your head.

From seeing men being hanged in Tehran cause they loved other men or seeing a girl get stoned on the street in Islamabad after her clothes were stripped off her, to witnessing a boy (no more then 6 years old) have his hand crushed for stealing bread to think 99.9% don't want to see that is living in cloud cookcoo land.

Most are good honest loving people no question about it and the welcome in Iran and the people there generally are like us and most are lovely. But many have a mindset to punish and hurt people who don't go along with their way of life or beliefs.

If my mother tongue is shaking the foundations of your state, it probably means you built your state on my land.

You came to that poster's defence though.
"You're being pedantic, I told you to go see for yourself, spend a half hour there and you'll see what a ghetto its turning into, my own eyes back it up not sure why you refuse to believe it."

Surely saying things like "go see for yourself" suggests you agree with the poster I quoted? Or are you backtracking now and you didn't actually want to defend the comment?

You basically said to him to "go see" the tensions that the original poster was talking about.

Post: "So the paper is lying and you know about tensions there.

    Anything to back it up?"

And your first response wasn't to say "I never said there were tensions" but to say "go see for yourself".
