woe is me after saturday, but Congratulations to lansdowne better team won

we played really well first half and led 5-3 with excellent craig ohanlon try, but slowly and surely lansdowne took over and they will be kicking themselves they didnt get bonus in fairness our lads really dug deep to stop them getting that.

Lansdownes firsr try was absolute belter great handling skill -its on lansdowne fc twitter feed

Great to play in aviva, as you can see lansdowne wore a hideous red strip and not their usual strip (which is a nice one)

in relegation battle now we missing tynan, nash, goggin due to injury, buccaneers on saturday massive game for us.

Yeah infairness though that was probably the best cookies side they could but out in that time frame with the injuries you have and players like shane o'Leary leaving and Dan goggin I doubt you will ever see back tbh I think munster will use a fair bit this year in te league and cup. As a lansdowne man I'm disappointed with not getting a bonus point out of the game but then again hat off to good defensive. We have trinity this week and apparently there in serious trouble already with forwards missing in the front row etc..

LFC - goggin injured hurt his knee playing for musnter few weeks back out til new year
we might have him back when he recovers - trinity have lost keating (prop) to garryowen and tom ryan (no 8) to us , we have them at home next week, but gonna worry bout buccs first

Very Interesting - Think there is only 3 Leinster academy players in the entire list.

Back Row James Connolly Connacht/Naas played 60 minutes 1 try

My predictions, bar the Naas one, were completely wrong last week but anyway...

    1A
    Buccaneers to win at home
UCD will have too much firepower
    Lansdowne
    Clontarf
Mary's v Terenure could be a cracker alright, but Mary's will win

    1B
    Naas win
    Ballynahinch
Old Wesley to win at home
UCC and Belvo could be tight, but I think the students will do it at home.
    Ballymena to win

I'd expect Trinity to be pretty similar to last week although reading reports I wouldn't be surprised to see Jack Dunne start ahead of the Italian in the row.
Will go with the following for predictions
    Buccaneers (Home advantage to count)
Cork Con (Always fancy Con at home)
    Lansdowne
Clontarf (expect Garryowen to run them close)
Terenure (will be nothing in it though)

Naas (Naas have started well and expect that to continue)
Hinch (Seemed to hit form last week)
Old Wesley (slow start for Wesley so far)
UCC (They look pretty strong this year and have an excellent coach)
    Ballymena

great result for munsters sat, played well in first half 2 ken kilkenny tries had us 13-10 up second try was very good, buccs took over in second half and went 24-13 up inc an interception, with 15 mins left we were staring at zero points from 3 games, but boy did we come back with 3 tries from jack lyons daniel hurley anda brilliant one from gavin coombes who mid tackle ripped ball and scored under the posts, great result to get 5 points and stop them getting anything... great rendition of beautiful munsters at the end. joy and relief all round, the win shortened the drive home

how'd Hayes get on at 15?

Did Evan O'Gorman get off the bench and if so how'd he get on?

Both players u19 and products of the club game, which is great to see.

Good win for Mary’s. Don’t see them challenging this year but that kind of result is the reason they’ll be safe.

Think your right yeah can't see them in the top 4 play offs come end of season but can't see them battling relegation either so they should be fine. On the other front I'm very very very surprised at trinity beating cookies away in Limerick cookies are usually at their strongest at home. Trinity also have injuried key players so thought young munster would have the advantage straight away too 😲...

Was at game and DUFC full value for their win. Have lost 10 players from last year including tight head and lose head. Also have many injuries but got a few back yesterday including Finlay and Reaf tyrell in the pack and have found a tight head now in Joe Byrne. Still have Jack Kelly Seb Fromm Brian Mollen Jack McDermott to come back into the back line and Jack Dunne Sam Pim and Toby Boyd to come back into the pack. They will get better thats for sure and showed that yesterday. Michael Sylvester and Michael Courtney and Richard Dunne also very good yesterday

Michael Sylvester and Michael Courtney and Richard Dunne also very good yesterday
yeah had seen Courtney and silvester play against us in college park last week both arguably the best trinity players playing that day and both scored very good individual tries in what was a 52-12 score line

Was at Trinity - YM game, disappointing from us as we were rocking at one stage 14-3 up but just took foot off the pedal, we had a golden chance for a third try before half time that could have probably been enough to see us through but Trinity scrambled well and held us out.  Trinity were worth their win after the slow start, Courtney was excellent and led them well. It is a tough loss for us to take, would have been great to be 2 from 4 with a lot of players out for the first series of games. have Senior cup next before Cons away from home and a tough couple of games in late October/November.

they all played well, big step up in physicallity which the all seem able for, they will take a couple of weeks to bed in and get used to things moving quicker at 1A level, but overall they are very promising, we moved the ball wide better than i have seen us in a long time.
Trinity's prop that came on and shored up their scrum impressed and Courtney, not aware of many other players apart from Billy O'Hora who did well.
