Lisa Hannigan. She must subconsciously remind me of someone, because I get such a bone-crunching jolt of actual hatred whenever I hear her stupid voice or see her or hear her name. I have, with drink taken, gone on at great length about all the things I hate about her but they're all things that don't/wouldn't bother me in other people, it's definitely my issue like.

Bono Because he does not pay hes fair share of tax in Ireland with hes overseas tax havens of the Netherlands with sum of the tax that Bono should be paying to Ireland we could built homes for the homeless and help the young and sick .

You are, on paper, correct in how you have used the word, most dictionaries include that definition. That use of the word is just wrong to me, hence it's my answer to the inexplicably can't stand thread.

OK, in that case I can't abide people who accuse other people of being incorrect, even when they're the ones who have got it wrong. Explicably. :D

I'd never heard of her before but now you've made me hate her too.

She's got that stupid put-on whispery "I'm such a delicate flower" girly voice that was so popular a few years ago. All feckin "dancing through flowery meadows in a summer dress, with daisies in my hair".

    Gack.

Jerry the mouse. Everyone loved him thinking he was all cuddly and cute but boy he was one evil conniving little rodent. Tom was sound, his only mistake was behaving like a cat.

    That's fairly inexplicable alright.

This thread has convinced me that the country is crying out for a quango to examine ways in which the word inexplicably could be better understood by the Irish population, and how we can prevent misuse and prejudice against inexplicably - better known as inexplicablism.

Being the selfless man I am, I'm prepared to put myself forward as the chairman of the new Anti-Inexplicablism Board (AIB), on a salary of, say, €450,000 per year (plus expenses obviously). Can any FGers on the thread get on to HQ and get it sanctioned pronto, thanks.

Morrissey. Tuneless "singer" (loose definition of the term) who wants to preach to us about what we should or shouldn't eat. Fu Go away.

On a similar theme, Nick Cave.

    Rag and Bone Man.

I only found out the other week that this guy was white and English. Generally I find that whole "cultural appropriation" thing a load of old bollocks, just typical 2010's PC garbage that our children will look back at in the same way we wonder how so many of our parents generation believed in moving statues and priests blessing new cars.

But this guy, I dunno. I'm not denying that he has a good voice, but there's something inherently cringe about a young, fat English bloke singing like a drink and drug battered old black American who has been on the booze and drugs to dull the memories of some awful stuff he saw in Nam back in 67.

I second Vincent Browne with a firm .

Even the most indefensible establishment TD's and councillor guests he has on his show cannot be more repulsive than that haggard, po faced, stuttering, stammering, disruptive , disapproving, biased benjamin button for a human being. Incredibly irritating how he talks to people he obviously has a chip on his shoulder with.

Actually I can explain it. . . It's her unbearable smugness

I'll second that one. I have to change stations, muting just isn't enough. The way she touches the screen with two fingers really winds me up for no apparent reason!

Another vote for varadkar. Have a feeling he's not anywhere near as popular as some in the media seem to assume. Smug pontificating bollix

    Glen Hansard.

I've always hated him even before his little communist stunt at Apollo House.

Got his face in the news breaking into private property, talking about the homeless then fecked off back to his mansion for Christmas.

A champagne socialist and a crusty to boot.

To be fair, he's Mr. Likeable compared to his rival for the leadership, Mr. Simon Bilderburger Coveney.

Not inexplicable, tho, is it really.

To me-neither are likable in my eyes. Coveney for his complete ineptitude surrounding the horsemeat (no lie, he appeared on the news with the 'oh,this was just a simple contamination, like, there would be human dna in meat too due to human handling...' and it's like, great, now we're cannibals? He does know people are covered up to the nines when handling and arranging food, to prevent contamination? Idiot). On the other hand Varadkar is just a complete George Bush-totally inept-he hears a rumour, states it as fact. Keeps getting pushed into all different ministerial jobs, all because he's rubbish. And he thinks he'd be a good leader. Nope. He's a headache, complete headache).

A lot thankfully called her out in the comments for bandwagonning jumping

Walked up to her in stores and called her disgusting too. Like, in person. She milked it of course.

An unknown woman she mentioned on her instagram feed. She was in some shop or superstore, and this girl, in her 20s or so, walked up to her and admonished her for 'making up a rape story'.

So yeah, even women weren'y buying her story.

Katherine Ryan - she comes off when she's on the 8/10 cats countdown show as she wants to be anywhere else and her accent like Alison Curtis is so annoying

I know it's a tv character but I hate Sue Heck from the middle, so bloody annoying, thick character who annoys the crap out of me
