    Yeah, good luck trying to beat Demian Maia using your jiu jitsu.

    He isn't going to beat maia with jiu jitsu and he didn't say that. He said with his decent level of defensive wrestling maia won't be able to take him down and if he does he will be able to survive. Obviously he is thinking and basically saying he will beat him on the feet. If maia can't take you down he struggles as we all know.

    Condit, brown and magny all have terrible take down defense. Rory had good takedown defense and maia struggled.

    Gunnar has great jui jitsu defense hence how he survived.

    Masvidal is saying he has both defenses covered and is clearly the better striker

    Agreed. He's hardly going to come out and say " My only hope is on the feet, Maia sleeps me within 30 seconds of going to ground "

    His Corner will be trying to throw a bucket of water of Masvidal before the fight starts to get slippy, Maia will be too strong an ex 185er fighting an ex 155er.

    Well masvidal could be too quick for him. Avoid getting taken down and out strike maia for the first few minutes of each round could win it for him

    Yep thats the beauty of the match up, Im siding with Maia here, Thought JDS looked in great shape and stats are against Miocic nobody defends the title 3 times...

    Well this only is his second defence. Think stipe needs to finish him early or jds will out work him and find the late finish

    Agree completely rogan is insufferable when he's commentating alongside one of the fighters.
