On a related topic. Considering phone is network unlocked what do ye find the best as a sim only plan?

    Three for the unlimited data.

People are using the Amazon Anker ones, they are always good quality

    Use Bluetooth

Any you could recommend? Can you use Bluetooth for Android Auto?

    Bugger

Tried but no joy ah well live and learn went for 64 so got car charger and case for it so happy enough

I have an anker cable I use for charging in work for the Oneplus 1 would this work for one plus 5?

Also Android Auto in car what cable can be used?

Worth picking up these usb micro to type c adaptors

For android auto use the type c cable your dash car charger comes with one just use that
    Cheers

Best place to get spare cables for charging? Also to plug into USB port in car for Android Auto what would I need. I bought the dash car charger but I take it that just charges the phone does not mirror it on Android Auto?

Dash charger is just for 12v/cigarette lighter for android auto you have to be connected to cars usb port.

Anker ones are very good, aukey aren't far behind just be careful of cheap generic ones they can kill devices if plugged in to charge of another.

Have to use usb for android auto doesn't work work over bluetooth. Keeps the battery topped up won't charge any way nearly as fast the dash charger. Running android auto/ google maps/ is pretty hard on the battery

Just got my 3rd Firmware update in 5 days. They seem to be very keen to issue updates to any wrinkles people are experiencing which I hope is a sign of good support and things to come rather than there being a lot of unexpected issues with the device and/or the firmware!!

Everyone should see this as it confirms my own amazement with both the battery performance and the rapid charging time!!

There's 4 standout figures in that chart

Obviously the oneplus 5 got an excellent, compare to the 5-6 hour average rating the oneplus 3 and 3t got

The other 2 devices with 835 on that list, the xperia xz premium and the HTC u11 came out really well. Compare that to the LG G6 that came out with the 821 processor.

I've watched quite a few videos of the OP5 charging quicker than the HTC U11 and Samsung S8. How did it not score better on the charging test?

I was leaning towards the LG G6 from eGlobal but I think I'll stay with One Plus after having 2x OPO, a ceramic OPX and a OP2.

Working perfect for my meteor personal sim and Vodafone work sim.
Been using dual SIM phones for a while now and it's as good as all the others.

When I ordered last night, it told me estimated dispatch on Thursday, with estimated delivery on Tuesday. It was actually shipped this morning, with delivery tomorrow.
If you got priority shipping, it should be delivered next day once it's shipped.

Erica Griffin has her review up
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGHtf8flFPY

Good review but OIS is sorely missed and low light shots are poor.
    Also only 1.6X optical zoom

No mention of the "jello srolling" issue over on XDA

Ok decision time. 64GB or the 128GB for the extra €50. I'm leaning towards the more expensive option.

I was thinking the same, but went for 64GB
My current phone only has 16GB and a 32GB Card and I have never come close to running out of space. I think it is expensive enough for the 64GB.

I'll be keeping it for two years so not too bad looking at it that way.

Not only 64gb, you also get 2gb of extra ram (that you probably won't use). I got the 128mb -my previous phone was 16gb and I had a 64gb SD Card, both my phone and card were running out of space ---- I kinda use my phone as extension of my computer and gradually shifting to cloud. I usually stay with my phones for 2+ years, I don't think extra 60€ will make a difference if I analyse this way.
