My MRSC pack arrived this morning. Nothing but a sticker and a cheap pair of gloves. It's really very poor considering the quality of hats, scarves and offers we used to get!
Havent the MRSC staff in Munster Rugby not been around or something like that
So thats probably/possibly reason why gift isnt as good as previous years

Heard Jennifer Kiernan left and the MRSC has fallen apart. Still havent received my pack.

The new supporters bar, while being an improvement on space, they removed access to the ST holders in the West stand and all the memorabilia now resides in the 10 year ticket holder bar. They should have merged the two spaces and have a VIP area for the ten year ticket holders.

It seems that Jennifer Kiernan, no longer works in the office, so there was seriously bad communication with respect to membership since she left. We got sent our season tickets the week before the season started (without the usual communication that they were on their way) and were advised that the gift was delayed due to supplier issues and that we'd have it by the end of September. Zero communication since then and we're finally receiving the gloves two months later at the end of October. It been pretty poor stuff from MR.

As to the gloves, last year the 'gift' was a luggage tag, a nylon boot bag and some other ridiculous thing that I can't remember. There was uproar with such a stupid 'gift' with people saying that it should have been hat/scarf/gloves. So the gloves this year (whatever their quality) are a vast improvement on that.

Why not just have them as one bar?
There's surely no need for the dividing line between the 2?

For Gloucester they had a way up to West stands seats from the bar though

Munster are being a tad mean with their pack alright.

Packs should be full of tat, I want car stickers, mugs, a mouse mat and a key ring. Along with a scarf. The Leinster one this year wasn’t great in fact the tin it came in was the highlight for my 3 year old.

By all accounts the 10-year ticket holders bar is a morgue, might as well just open it back up. Not too fond of the layout/look of the new supporters one (although the views onto the pitch are superb, so probably outweight any interior/stylistic complaints!)

On a normal year you get the gift, a card wallet, a car sticker, a discount for Emerald rugby subscription and the Lifestyle voucher. This year we got the gift and a car sticker.

Lifestyle decided they weren't giving the voucher anymore and Emerald Rugby no longer print a magazine.

To be honest I don't know anyone who subscribed to Emerald Rugby (I'm sure some did) and how many card wallets do you need? I did miss the 20% Lifestyle voucher, but that wasn't the MRSCs fault.

The gloves are definitely better that last years rubbish.

If we had notice some of us might not have discarded last year's card wallet!

Have no idea, maybe as some sort of reward for paying for tickets for 10 years?

Did they? I didnt see it so!

I never used the card wallet, can have a look and see if I have one spare?

In addition to the gloves which do work with a smartphone, I'd like to at least have gotten an air freshener as the one I have hanging up has lost its scent and is severly faded

Air freshener? I never remember getting one of those. It must be pretty old!

A mug would be a good shout. Tried to get a Munster one last year for Leinster-supporting secret santa, but couldn't find one anywhere.

The range of Munster crested tat disappeared when Lifestyle took over the merchandising. The old clubs shops in Limerick and Cork had loads of bits and pieces stamped with the crest.

Same happened when Blackburn Rovers (club I support) outsourced their merchandise to SportsDirect. There wasnt even tat in the club shop. Hopefully MR will go back to doing it themselves when the contract is up.

Munster are being a tad mean with their pack alright.

If you assume that every euro MRSC spends on tat adds a euro to the cost of the membership, isn't that a good thing?

It's been Ulsters problem for years, not having a mean pack.

Packs are a bit mean, but I'm off to all three Ireland games in November thanks to the lottery so I'm OK with this trade off :D

Hopefully it's more money going into Munster rugby too if we aren't showered with merch.

Actually the mug is grand for work, it’s probably the most practical thing they’ve given out, I have a pile of scarves but to be honest if there wasn’t one or included I’d be pissed off.

If you follow the stairs up from outside the bar, it brings you out on the main west stand lower concourse, nearer the north end.

This really is an unprecedented run of games for the test players. Good to see but some of the fringe guys are going to be disappointed.

It would appear the writing is on the wall for Taute.

    Deysel powered va JJ
Keatley gets the nod over TB for the 22 shirt. Is he still a couple of weeks out from a return or just Keatley favoured?

I suppose POM and Stander will get rest periods in November as they won't travel to Chicago or play against the USA but I'm still surprised to see them named. On the other hand, are we seeing a change in seriousness from the IRFU regarding the league?

This is a massive game for Munster at the same time. Glasgow are the clear leader of Conference A. Lose and the chances of finishing top become remote.

Think with the two defeats away from home in the Pro14, Munster need to build some momentum off the back of european games. That why its such a strong team i'd imagine
