The metro in St Petersburg had been hit by a terrorist attack.
There are casualties. It happened close to rush hour.

Next summer, Russia hosts the World Cup.

Seen the news, no mention of terrorists yet, but there is ever possibility of it.

Could be retaliation for Russian airstrikes and ground troops in Syria.

Horrible stuff if its terrorism.

Probably Putin looking for justification to invade somewhere in the Caucasus again. Not like he hasn't done it before.

It seems it was public knowledge Putin was to be there today, could as likely be an attack on him as an attack by him
