    I was getting this too.

Uninstalled Google Play App updates and it re-installed automatically.

    That worked for me.

I'm thinking of buying the Huawei mate 10 Pro to replace my U11...
Anyone had a Huawei phone before?
    Any advice?

Just out of curiosity, why are you unhappy with the U11?

To be honest I'm half looking at other phones too like the pro 10 and maybe even Sony xz premium, absolutely nothing wrong with the U11 I just get quickly bored! The same would eventually happen with anything else I would pick up.

That's exactly the reason why I'm looking for a change

Long time owners of this phone: does the camera still launch without lag after all this time?

Mine has no lag at all when I launch it and I have had the phone since it came out.

I purchased a translucent U11 Plus and need a case. I usually buy a Spigen one but they don't seem to make one for the plus. Looking for a crystal type to show off the phone ;-)
    Can anyone recommend one?

    Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a screen protector for the U11? I have the Snugg gell case for the phone which comes up around the edges a bit. Many thanks for any recommendations...

I was looking through settings, apps and there I noticed that there are 2 HTC phone apps showing. See attached screenshots. They seem to be working in tandem. Anyone else have this in their U11?
One version is 9.50.1005637 and the other is 9.59.1010558

Ya I noticed that recently too, since the oreo update I think.

Yes, it's since the oreo update. Maybe a glitch

I'm looking for a recommendation too, there are so many. I have an Orzly on my HTC10 and it's brilliant, unfortunately not available for the U11.

    Not needed imo.

No WAY I'm going to use it without a screen protector :)

I've really good B and O earphones, does the phone come with a USB C to audio adaptor?

I'm looking on Amazon for one but they have really bad reviews.

Yes, it comes with an adaptor, but a lot of people weren't happy with it. They have released a few firmware updates to improve it though, AFAIK.

Nope it just comes with the boxed headphones (which are really good). I'm not sure if standard C to 3.5 adapters will work as I know the HTC headphones won't work in other phones. I'll try my Pixel 2 adapter later and let you know. You can get those for £9 off the Google Store.

Yours didn't come with an adaptor? My U11 definitely did, as I forgot to put it in the box when I sold it, and the guy came back past to collect it.

Definitely an adapter with mine too.

Why did you sell it out of interest

None in the box of mine anyway. What does it look like, grey like the headphones? I really don't recall it.

Yeah, it's about 5/6 cm long and the same grey colour as the headphones.

Pat didn't you say before you thought you lost the adapter and then found it again on the end of a pair of headphones?!

Don't get me wrong, it's a good device. It was just a combination of things. The development community is dying out, and I was getting a bit bored of HTC after owning probably a dozen of their flagships over the last decade or so.
